Jamal was determined to make sure his friend Liam looked sharp for his meetup with Ava at the cinema that evening, this was part of their plans to make her fall for him. He carefully picked out Liam's outfit, making sure he looked ready to impress any woman who laid eyes on him, Ava included.
After Liam was dressed, Jamal sat him down for a quick pep talk, as Liam had been acting differently ever since his recent car kidnap incident.
"Remember, you can't fall for this girl," Jamal warned. "That's not what this is about."
Liam laughed. "Who do you think you're talking to? I'm Liam Parker. I don't do that mushy falling-in-love nonsense, especially not with someone like Ava - she's kind of an ice queen if you ask me. And you know what his at stake here."
