"You're in my Climax Pressure's Pool," Akari announced, her eyes sparkling excitedly.
The team's eyes darted to her, widening in shock.
"This is just a fraction of my Climax Energy!" she declared, her voice filled with pride.
Everybody's eyes remained fixed on Akari, their faces reflecting a mix of awe, fear, and curiosity.
"Now, let's learn about Climax, shall we?" Akari laughed heartily.
The team exchanged nervous glances,
'You can't be serious...' Kuro thought, his mind reeling in disbelief.
'Did she just say...?' Mizuki thought, her eyes widening in shock.
'That we're in her Climax Pressure's Pool?!' Kaito, Yukiko, and Ryujin thought in unison, their eyes darting to Akari.
Akari, leaning on the left side of the room, smiled at them. "Let's start from the beginning," she said, her voice clear and commanding.
"Climax is a powerful energy born from our negative emotions, thoughts, and mindsets."
As she spoke, she opened her hand, and a golden light flowed from her palm into the air. The light twirled into the air, mesmerizing the team.
"This force can be harnessed and shaped at the user's will," Akari continued, her eyes gleaming with intensity.
But then, the light stopped, and Akari's expression turned serious. "This power is a deadly one for those who don't know how to use it."
"Any small mishap could lead to a fatality..." Akari warned.
The golden light burst apart into pieces, like shattered glass and light shards fell onto the ground with a soft tinkling sound.
Mizuki's eyes were wide with fear. "What's she saying is...?"
Kaito's voice was laced with concern. "I think she means we could reach a level where our Climax energy would grow out of control..."
"And we might actually..." Ryujin completed the thought, his voice barely above a whisper.
Akari's expression was solemn. "Yes. If you let your Climax energy go out of control,"
"You'd die."
The team's eyes locked onto Akari.
"Don't panic, you're all safe... for now," Akari said with a reassuring smile.
"You haven't reached the stage of natural overload,"
Then she looked at Yukiko and Ryujin "Although two of you came close in the last battle. But that's normal."
She stood up straight and began walking towards Kaito.
"You can increase your Climax output, but be aware of this crucial limit: no one can exceed 50%."
In an instant, she vanished, only to reappear behind Kaito's back, making his eyes widen in surprise.
"Why?" she echoed.
"Because exceeding 50% leads to catastrophic consequences: mutations, mental disability, or even death."
Her laughter sent shivers down their spines as she walked towards the door.
"There are three levels of Climax users. "
"The beginners, like you two," she nodded towards Misuki and Kuro, still floating in the air, "operate between 0% to 25%. You're safe, but you can't take on anyone stronger. "
"You need to train."
Akari's gaze swept across the room, her eyes gleaming with intensity. "The intermediate level, where Yukiko and Ryujin reside, ranges from 25% to 40%. "
"And then there's the advanced level, where Kaito stand, between 40% to 50%."
"Huh?!" Kaito exclaimed
"Yukiko and Ryujin, you two are on the intermediate level, your outputs are from 25% to 40%," Akari said, her eyes gleaming with intensity.
"You've made progress, but you still have a long way to go. You can fight against beginners, but you'll struggle against advanced users."
Yukiko's mind flashed back to the fight with Kenshiro
She turned to Kuro and Mizuki, who were still floating in the air. "And you two, you're still on the beginner level, but you have potential. Don't waste it."
Akari's gaze swept across the room, her expression serious. "The advanced level is from 40% to 50%. That's where Kaito is, and that's where you all need to aim. But remember, exceeding 50% is a death sentence."
"But you'll do awesome things too," Akari said with a smile.
"Let me show you something..."
She walked to the door and opened the door and stretched out her hand, palm up. "If I shoot an ordinary light ball..."
A glowing orb materialized in her palm, and with a flick of her wrist, she sent it soaring outside.
The light ball hit a tree with a soft thud, leaving a faint glow on the trunk.
"Now watch this," Akari said, her eyes closing in concentration.
The wind began to gust stronger, whipping through the room with a gentle whoosh. "Climatic State: 20%..."
The light from the surroundings began to gather around her hand, compressing into a small, intense ball.
She threw the ball into the forest, leaving a golden trail in its wake. A massive explosion erupted, sending shockwaves through the air and rustling the leaves.
Akari turned back to the team, a joyful smile on her face, her eyes closed in bliss.
"You'd be able to do that," she whispered.
The room returned to normal, the furniture thudding to the ground, Mizuki and Kuro falling with a soft thud.
Akari walked out the door, raised her hand, and waved. "See you all!"
As she walked away, the team stared after her, awestruck.
"What was..." Kuro trailed off, his voice lost in wonder.
"I'll go make us some tea," Mizuki said, breaking the silence, stood up and walked away.
