In the cozy sitting room of the base, Kaito stood behind a chair, his hand gripping the handle.
Mizuki sat in the chair, her eyes fixed on the door, her expression a mix of concern and frustration.
"Well, she's not back," Kaito said, his annoyance evident in his tone.
Mizuki sighed, shaking her head. "I told you we should have followed her."
Kuro, reclining, his eyes closed in relaxation, spoke up. "No, she said we should come here, so it means we have to stay here."
Mizuki nodded reluctantly. "I guess so."
Yukiko, seated on the floor, busied herself rewrapping her bandages.
Ryujin, sitting in an armchair, stretched his arms overhead, his joints cracking in protest.
The room fell silent, the only sound the soft ticking of a clock on the mantle.
The group's eyes kept drifting to the door,
Mizuki's voice cut through the silence, her eyes fixed on the ceiling. "But question, what are you doing up there?!"
Kuro, sitting upside down on the ceiling with his legs crossed. His eyes were closed, his face serene.
"I'm meditating," he replied calmly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Mizuki's eyes widened in incredulity. "Upside down?!" she yelled.
Kuro's expression remained tranquil. "It adds more momentum," he explained.
Mizuki threw up her hands in exasperation. "You're not moving!" she yelled again, her voice laced with frustration.
Kuro's eyes opened, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "That's the point," he said.
A blinding beam of light burst into the room through the door, illuminating every corner and sending the team scrambling to cover their eyes, leaving behind a lingering glow.
As suddenly as it appeared, the light faded, revealing Akari seated on the floor, her hands serenely placed on her lap.
The team slowly removed their hands from their eyes, blinking away the lingering light.
"Wow, flashy entrance!" Kaito thought.
"How long were you planning on doing that?!" Kaito asked aloud, his voice tinged with awe and annoyance.
Akari's gaze snapped towards him, her eyes piercingly sharp. Kaito shivered, feeling a shiver run down his spine as he gulped.
"Since I joined the X-specs..." she replied, her voice low and mysterious.
"But that's not what we should be discussing."
"Today, I'm going to teach you about Climax..."
"And you'll experience it."
She stretched out her arm, her palm facing upwards. A golden light began to glow on her palm.
"Huh?" Kaito exclaimed, his eyes fixed on the light in wonder.
The light began to expand, engulfing the room in a warm, golden glow.
The team gasped in unison as the light enveloped them.
As the light had faded, the team's pupils glowed gold for a brief moment then returned to normal.
Yukiko had rubbed her eyes. "What had just happened?!" she had exclaimed, her voice laced with confusion.
Kaito had stood with his eyes closed, his hand grasping the chair for support.
Mizuki had bent down, her hands covering her eyes, Ryujin's hands had been clasped over his face, his body tense with confusion.
Kuro, however, had slowly opened his eyes and found the sitting room had been filled with liquid.
Akari had remained seated on the floor, serene and unmoving, while the furniture had floated around her.
Mizuki's chair drifted through the air, with her still seated in it.
Yukiko had floated nearby, her bandages unraveling.
Ryujin had been upside down, his body suspended in mid-air like a puppet cut from its strings.
Kaito still stayed standing on the ground
Then Kuro looked up to see himself floating sideways on the ceiling, "What the?!" he had exclaimed, his arms waving wildly as he twirled through the air.
The others opened their eyes to see the bizarre scene around them. "What the hell?!" Mizuki had yelled, her voice shrill with panic.
Yukiko's bandages had flowed out of their rolls, while Ryujin had floated into a wall and slammed into it with a thud.
Kaito opened his eyes to see his teammates panicking, their bodies suspended in mid-air "The room, it's emerged in water?" he exclaimed
"What's going on?"
Akari broke into a cheeky smile just then, Yukiko and Ryujin fell to the ground, their bodies thudding against the floor.
"Yukiko! Ryujin!" Kaito had exclaimed, rushing to their sides.
Yukiko had lain on the floor, her bandages scattered around her.
Ryujin had been on all fours, looking around wildly, his eyes darting back and forth.
Kuro kept on floating, "How did they get down" he asked, then he hit his head on the wall and groaned, "Hey!" in frustration
"Where are we?!" Mizuki yelled out, she gazed around in bewilderment.
Akari stood up, her smile radiant as she walked around the room, past Kaito.
"You're in my Climax Pressure's Pool," she announced, her eyes sparkling excitedly.
The team's eyes darted to her, widening in shock.
"This is just a fraction of my Climax Energy!" she declared, her voice filled with pride.
Everybody's eyes remained fixed on Akari, their faces reflecting a mix of awe, fear, and curiosity.
"Now, let's learn about Climax, shall we?" Akari laughed heartily.
The team exchanged nervous glances,
