"No wonder," Jay uttered. Going through his stats and skill/title descriptions, he finally knew why someone with no training in combat whatsoever was so good at killing. He did not dwell on it because, without the title, he would not have survived the death match. In this period of uncertainty, knowing that he wasn't just prepared to do everything possible to survive but also capable of doing it gave him comfort.
"It is surprising to see a lowly mortal figure out how to view the status screen. Well, considering the filthy world you came from had similar games, it isn't," a condescending voice sounded from behind Jay. He calmly turned to face the owner of the voice. It was the most beautiful female he had ever seen, but it failed to make strong waves in his heart. After a quick contemplation, he said, "You must be the Astral Angel sent to help me establish my domain."
The Astral Angel frowned when Jay didn't react as expected and ordered, "Don't talk to me until I talk to you, you insignificant mortal." Then, she haughtily asked him, "I am going to place an Astral beacon at the center of your domain, do you have a problem with it filth?"
"Yes," Jay dismissed the Astral Angel. Ignoring her dumbfounded look, he indifferently added, "First, you will explain to me what Astral Arena is, what the Astral domain entails, and what is happening here?"
"How dare a worthless mortal like you make a demand of me?" the Astral Angel screamed in anger, her eyes brimming with rage, and her lips twisted into a hideous grin. The Astral mist dome crackled with thunder and lightning, echoing the intensity of her fury.
"Does that mean you are not going to answer me?" Jay asked calmly, unaffected by her anger and dramatics. The title 'The First Murderer' was proving more useful than he had anticipated.
Seeing that Jay did not get scared and kneel, begging for mercy like all the previous players, the Angel frowned. Sensing that she had encountered a difficult player, she stated in annoyance, "I never said that. How dare you slander me, you insolent mortal?"

Instead of directly answering Jay, the Astral Angel used the system prompt to give him a lengthy and cluttered explanation of the information he sought. He wasn't bothered by it. Jay didn't care what means the Angel used, as long as he got the information he sought.
