Speaking of Doflamingo, Byakuya suddenly remembered someone perfect for joining the 'Night' organization: the Surgeon of Death, Trafalgar D. Water Law!

Law is among the top three who hate Doflamingo the most. Moreover, Law is fundamentally a good person.

Even when he became a Warlord of the Sea, he captured a hundred pirates. He was also reliable and trustworthy when he allied with Luffy.

Most importantly, Law's Devil Fruit ability is incredibly powerful. With proper training, he could become a formidable force, equivalent to an Admiral.

Byakuya was not concerned about whether Law would agree to join Byakuya's organization.

Byakuya planned to offer him help in killing Doflamingo in exchange for joining the 'Night' organization. Law would agree without hesitation.

He might even be willing to die for the chance to get revenge.

Law should be in the North Blue, having formed the Heart Pirates and still adventuring in the first half of the Grand Line.

Using his position to gather information on the Heart Pirates' whereabouts would be simple.

Three days later, Byakuya arrived at Marineford.

He originally wanted to visit his teacher, Zephyr, but a soldier led him to the meeting room as soon as he disembarked.

On the way, Byakuya noticed that the Marine officers around him looked at him differently.

News of Byakuya defeating Jack had spread throughout Marine Headquarters in the past three days.

Many officers were astonished that someone so young could be so powerful.

However, some believed that since Admiral Aokiji had already injured Jack, Byakuya had just taken advantage of the situation.

Only those who were present that night knew the truth of how Byakuya defeated Jack.

However, with Aokiji dispatched to the New World to guard a Marine base and Reisun being part of the World Government, there needed to be someone to clarify the situation.

Byakuya himself certainly wouldn't explain. Thus, such doubts persisted among the Marines.

Byakuya didn't care much about these opinions. People like that existed everywhere.

He could ignore it if no one were foolish enough to mention it.

But if someone did, Byakuya wouldn't hesitate to knock some sense into them.

Led by the soldier, Byakuya arrived at a small meeting room decorated with a few plants and an oval table surrounded by seven or eight chairs.

Upon entering, he saw Fleet Admiral Sengoku and Vice Admiral Tsuru.

This was Byakuya's first time meeting Vice Admiral Tsuru, so he greeted her with a smile.

Tsuru nodded back, smiling, considering Byakuya was Zephyr's disciple and thus somewhat closer to her than others.

"Huh, what are you doing here?" Byakuya then noticed his 'old acquaintance' Reisun, who was representing the World Government at the meeting.

Reisun explained, "Ahem, I'm representing the World Government at this meeting."

Byakuya casually took a seat and asked, "Uncle Sengoku, where's Doflamingo?"

"Uncle Sengoku?" Vice Admiral Tsuru nearly spit her tea onto Sengoku's face.

Reisu's eyes widened in surprise. It turns out Byakuya was Sengoku's nephew.

As a special agent, Reisun felt this was worth noting. Curious, Tsuru asked, "Sengoku, when did Byakuya become your nephew?"

"You two have that kind of relationship? Does Zephyr know?" Tsuru asked.

Sengoku felt awkward. He hadn't expected Byakuya to call him uncle at that moment.

He couldn't very well admit that three days ago, to get closer to Byakuya, he shamelessly claimed him as his dear nephew.

Struggling, Sengoku explained, "He's my distant nephew. Very distant. Zephyr doesn't know yet. I only found out a few days ago."

Tsuru didn't believe a word of it, but seeing Sengoku sweating bullets, she let it slide.

However, Tsuru knew Sengoku was lying, whereas Reisun, misunderstanding the situation, took it at face value and updated Byakuya's records to reflect that he was the Marine Fleet Admiral Sengoku's nephew.

Sengoku gritted his teeth and said, "Byakuya, in Marine Headquarters, you should call me Fleet Admiral Sengoku."

Seeing Sengoku's embarrassment, Byakuya laughed inwardly.

Did Sengoku think being Byakuya's uncle would be that easy? One day, it would come back to bite him.

Everyone waited half an hour before Doflamingo finally walked in, looking angry. One might think he had been the one waiting.

This was Byakuya's first time seeing Doflamingo: blond hair, sunglasses, a pink feather coat, cropped pants, pointy shoes, and an arrogant stride.

He looked like someone just begging to be punched.

If Doflamingo had started doing a silly dance, Byakuya would have also thought he was from another world.

With everyone present, Sengoku regained his serious demeanour. "Now that everyone is here let's start the meeting."

Reisun was the first to speak. "Doflamingo, did you or did you not kidnap the Celestial Dragon?"

"No!" Doflamingo replied defiantly, leaning back in his chair with his legs propped up, showing no respect for being in Marine Headquarters.

"But Palace Mapelseciel was found at the scene of your transaction with the Beasts Pirates."

"Furthermore, Palace Mapelseciel mentioned hearing about the artificial Devil Fruits."

"I believe only high-ranking members of the Donquixote Family would know about that."

Reisun's words caught Doflamingo off guard. He wondered how Palace Mapelseciel had heard about the artificial Devil Fruits.

Doflamingo, thinking quickly, defended himself, "The information about the artificial Devil Fruits might have leaked, and someone used it to frame me."

"Leaked? Even the Marines and CP0 didn't know about it. Who else besides high-ranking members of the Donquixote Family could know?"

Others knew, of course, such as the Beasts Pirates, the other party in the transaction.

But accusing the Beasts Pirates of leaking the information would make people question Doflamingo's sanity.

Seeing Doflamingo's silence, Reisun stopped pressing. Sengoku asked, "Doflamingo, do you have anything else to say?"

Suppressing his rage, Doflamingo asked, "I want to know who killed Trebol."

Byakuya chimed in coolly, "You mean that disgusting guy with the snot? I killed him. I remember cutting him in half with a single slash."
