The skylight changed colors, mimicking the azure of the night sky, a deep and dazzling blue.
Raven took a glance at the vast mansion and sighed.
Moriarty was no longer hers. He hadn't made a statement ever since she found him laying waste to District 12 of Level 7. Although she should have known, all stories come to an end, especially the delusional ones.
But still, it hurt. A lot. She wasn't sure she'd ever be able to stop hurting, but she could fake it.
"Your little boy toy is out for the count. How does that make you feel?"
Alistair was in her living room, lounging around like he owned the place. She couldn't exactly send him out, even though she badly wanted to be alone.
"Nothing." She said in a clipped tone, hoping he got the message. Truthfully, he never did. He never got to where he wanted by being kind or courteous, he did whatever he wanted to and if anybody queried him… he dealt with them.
