There was a ringing sound in Cincinnati's ears. At first, she ignored it. But, the ringing sound didn't stop. It was coming from her Hologram, and it only beeped like that whenever there was a problem.
She used illusion magic to see her Hologram, the System, Richard. It was her childhood friend and the one who played with Mark the most. She used him and not Mark because it felt like blasphemy to use Mark for her own agenda.
"Tell me what's going on," she asked it, readying her scythe, her silver hair flying in the wind.
[UNREST DISCOVERED]
It was an urgency she didn't want to think about, but she ran at full speed, praying that Esme and the other members of The Renegades were doing fine.
She stopped at the top of a cliff and found Adam in the spot he always was, and he was backing her. She almost called out to him, but something seemed wrong. She held herself back.
The System beeped again, with more urgency.
