Dion was staring at the pile of red crystals with a clenched fist, his mind free from distraction. The rim of his eyes kept trembling. He gritted his teeth. His haggard look resembled a mad person. Valka was peacefully sleeping on his far left.
Things never went according to Dion's plan. It had been four days since he and Valka gathered and heaped the red crystal, but there was no sign of parasitic corruption. He felt like crying. All the plans were going to sink into the mud. His only hope right now is 'plan A'.
He even began to doubt if the red spirit had died. Even when he used his eye intent to scan the place, he found nothing.
On the first day, he watched his void shuttle board throughout the night and slept during the day, but nothing happened.
On the second day, he switched off his void shuttle board, trying to lure the red spirit if it was lurking and was wary. Yet nothing still happened. He was beginning to get anxious.
