Just as Arlo and Remi were about to reach Ulysses' abode, a man and a woman made their appearance, demanding to see Ulysses.
"Where is Ulysses? Bring him here," the woman commanded Shaman.
"Mr. Dustin Yusaf and Ms. Avena, kindly wait here. I... will fetch Ulysses," Shaman responded nervously, quickly disappearing into the workshop.
"Ulysses, they've returned," Shaman informed with a hint of fear.
In a composed voice, Ulysses retorted, "Send them away. Tell them I'm occupied."
"You seem anything but busy,"
Avena observed, her voice firm. She was dressed in a black suit that contrasted with her fiery red hair. An arming sword hung from her left waist, its double-edged blade measuring between 30 to 34 inches, perfect for both cutting and thrusting.
