"THUD!" "THUD!"
Arlo rapped on Remi's door.
Remi swung open the door to find Arlo drenched in sweat, the stench nearly overwhelming him.
"Keep your distance, you smell terrible," Remi retorted, covering his mouth.
"Quit being dramatic. Did you consult your senior about the matter I mentioned?" Arlo queried.
Remi, still battling his nausea, asked, "What matter?"
"Don't tell me you've forgotten. I brought it up last night before my run," Arlo jogged his memory.
"Last night? Oh, right," Remi remembered, "Wait, you've been running from last night until now, 11 AM?"
"Yes, it's not a big deal. I was referring to selling my weapon items. Does that ring a bell?" Arlo clarified.
Remi tried to recollect, and he remembered Arlo's mention of selling his items.
"Ah, now I recall! A mage sword and an innovator shield, correct?" Remi confirmed, "When did you start dealing in weapons, and who asked you to sell?"
"They're my possessions, and I'm the one selling them," Arlo responded, edging closer to Remi.
Remi retreated a couple of steps and added, "Maintain your distance, stay in the hallway."
Arlo, annoyed but compliant, remained in the hallway, aware that Remi was his only avenue to sell the weapons.
"You said you were selling them, right? Don't beat around the bush. Just admit you wanted to protect the identity of the person involved. Why lie?" Remi suggested.
Arlo mumbled to himself, "That's a brilliant idea. Now I don't have to justify anything."
With a grin, Arlo said, "An acquaintance of mine gave them to me. I've been collaborating with him for the past two months. He instructed me to sell the items and wants a 50% cut."
"Do you have them?" Remi inquired.
"Have what?" Arlo was confused.
"I'm referring to the weapons. Do you have them on you?" Remi asked, growing impatient.
"Yes… Yes... Right, they're upstairs. Come with me," Arlo responded.
Just as Arlo led the way, Bunny emerged from the restroom, abruptly.
"UWAHHH..."
Bunny began to retch in the middle of the room, gesturing at Arlo, "Get him out of here, Remi."
Arlo then realized how foul he smelled.
"I think I'll freshen up," Arlo said, realizing his room lacked a bath, and headed to the communal bathroom on the ground floor.
After a long, cold shower, Arlo returned to his room, where Remi was waiting.
"Where are the weapon items?" Remi asked.
Arlo opened his system window and was about to pull up the sword and shield.
"Why are you zoning out mid-conversation? Bring them here," Remi's voice snapped Arlo back to reality.
Arlo realized his blunder and thought, "That was a close shave! Otherwise, it would have been catastrophic."
"I think I left them in the bathroom. Let me fetch them," Arlo said, feigning forgetfulness, and dashed to the bathroom.
Remi thought, "Who stores weapons in a bathroom? What a weirdo!"
Arlo retrieved the weapons, returned to the room, and presented them to Remi, who scrutinized them meticulously.
Arlo smirked, thinking, "Be astounded by my weapons, fool. I hope you comprehend their true worth."
After inspecting both items, Remi remarked, "Both items are authentic. I think they'll command a handsome price."
Arlo, taken aback and furious, exclaimed, "You bastard! Don't toy with me. Do you realize the effort it took me to acquire these?"
"You!" Remi was perplexed.
Arlo stammered, "Me? I mean, I also assisted that person, performing tasks like cooking and cleaning for him. These items are my reward for all the hard work."
"HA...HA..." Arlo laughed insincerely.
Remi sighed, "I don't care about your housemaid duties, but I understand your frustration. Looking at both of these gleaming weapons, anyone could assume they're valuable."
Remi picked up the sword and pressed the stone in the middle of the hilt, revealing a cryptic inscription.
[Sword(?)

Class: Divine (?)
Subclass: C
Type: Dark]
Then, Remi picked up the shield and pressed the middle of the stone, projecting a hologram.
[Shield

Class: Mythic(?)
Subclass: C
Type: Wind]
Arlo was startled, believing that only he could see the item's name title. Suddenly, Remi displayed the items in a completely different manner than he had checked their status until now.
Arlo was taken aback, his shock evident to Remi.
Remi said, "Probably this is the first time you've seen them like this. It's called Weapon Status."
As Remi began to explain, Arlo listened attentively.
"There are two types of weapons: Mage weapons and Innovator weapons. When we check for weapon status in mage weapons, the inscription appears naturally on the item, with no need to tinker with it, because it was a dungeon reward item. But for innovator weapons, we have to set the Ted VoidStone to the item during its creation.
The Ted VoidStone, one of many types of Void stones, checks durability and information of the item and shows it. The status is given by the creator during its creation and that information is encrypted by Ciphon Voidstone, another type of stone used for privacy protection, so no one can tamper with the items once created.
Like these stones, humans have discovered nearly millions of types, which is the main reason Innovators have risen rapidly.
Innovator weapons are classified as Mythic Class with subclass varied from S, A, B, C.
Mage weapons are classified as Divine class also with subclasses from S, A, B, C.
If weapons have durability and status lower than C subclass in both classes, they are classified as Regular Class. This category also includes normal steel or other metal weapons."
When Arlo was inside the dungeon, the weapon didn't have any class because those weapons increase their level along with their wielder. But in the real world, once the weapon has been created, its subclass will not rise, and its durability will reduce based on usage.
"Do you get it now?" Remi inquired.
Arlo, with a blank face, nodded. Remi continued, "It looks like the shield is Mythic Class and the sword is Divine Class with a dark type. Not bad. It will probably fetch more than we anticipated."
Remi, admiring the sword's finish, asked, "Where did you get them? I mean, from which dungeon and creator? There are no initials on the shield, probably an unknown creator."
"Sorry Remi, I can't tell you that," Arlo responded.
"If you can't even tell me, how are you going to sell them without registering them with the Innovators & Mage Guild? They will definitely ask for every weapon's details you've got," Remi pointed out.
Arlo was bewildered, unsure of what to do next.
Remi sighed and said, "I will consult my seniors if there's a way to sell them without going through the Innovators & Mage Guild. It might take a few weeks. Don't worry. We will sell them, no matter what. Just stay put."
Remi left the room, leaving Arlo uncertain about whether he could actually sell the weapon items. He remembered Remi's words, 'We will sell them, no matter what. Just stay put,' before he left.
So, he began to do things only he could do and resumed his exercise routine, choosing to trust Remi.
"Quit jumping around, you bastard," Remi reprimanded as Arlo continued doing jumping jacks.
