Arlo found himself standing a mere few meters away from the Supreme Lion.
"GRRRR..."
With a deafening roar, the Supreme Lion sent out a sonic wave that pushed Arlo back. In a reflexive act of self-preservation, Arlo activated his shield.
The Supreme Lion lunged towards him. Arlo steeled himself for the impact.
The Supreme Lion collided with the shield, sending tremors through it and pushing Arlo back, despite the shield's activation.
Arlo had no intention of fleeing; he was determined to attempt something he had previously failed at.
The Supreme Lion struck the shield again, causing it to stumble momentarily. Arlo seized the opportunity to leap towards it.
Even though the lion managed to swipe at him, Arlo narrowly shielded himself, repelling the lion and brandishing his sword with courage.
When the Supreme Lion lunged at him, Arlo bravely turned off his shield. He swung the sword, timing his strike so that it clashed with the lion's neck, sending it hurtling back into the volcanic wall with a thunderous crash. The impact created a dust cloud and echoed throughout the cavern.
Arlo felt a searing pain in his hand and saw blood trickling down from it. He activated the shield once more, allowing his hand to gradually heal.
The Supreme Lion emerged from the dust cloud with a roar, its health bar appeared above it:
[Health: 200].
Arlo was taken aback. The Supreme Lion's health hadn't even decreased by 1%.
Suddenly, a new window popped up:
[A new info added: Slayer of Yedlin clan]
[Activation: Place the sword in the ground]
[Duration: One time per day, increases based on user level]
[Weakness: It can't cut anything; Weakness will decrease upon Player lifting its curse.]
"What the… Are you kidding me?"
Arlo exclaimed in disbelief. He scrutinized the window, hoping to find a way to lift the curse.
Suddenly, the Supreme Lion shattered the shield from above, causing it to crumble. Arlo didn't have time to react as the Supreme Lion swung its massive claw at him, sending him flying, just like before.
Arlo crashed into the wall, blood slowly seeping out as he clung onto his sword and shield.
"COUGH!"
"Is this the end?" Arlo smirked, thinking, 'I still have another life, right? Well, I tried.'
The Supreme Lion charged at him again, but to Arlo, it seemed as if the lion was moving in slow motion as he prepared to meet his fate.
'Arlo, you bastard, I'm sending a ball your way; head it properly,' Remi's voice echoed in his mind.
"Shut up, I know," Arlo snapped back, annoyed at Remi's voice, as the Supreme Lion closed in.
"THWACK!"
Arlo headbutted the Supreme Lion in the head as if he were heading a football, splitting open his own forehead and causing him to bleed profusely. His surroundings blurred as he coughed up blood.
As the Supreme Lion pounced towards him, Arlo's unexpected headbutt caused a tiny crack in its stone forehead, revealing its weak spot. The crack made the Supreme Lion stumble for a few seconds, enough time for Arlo to place his sword on the ground and activate it.
[Slayer of Yedlin Clan Activated.]

When Arlo activated the sword, it shattered into fragments and fell to the ground, the pieces being absorbed by the earth.
"That's it!"
Arlo exclaimed, looking at the spot where the sword fragments had vanished.
The Supreme Lion, infuriated by the crack in its forehead, leaped towards Arlo.
"STAB!"
"STAB!"
"STAB!"
"STAB!"
Shadowy daggers shot up from the ground near Arlo's face, impaling the Supreme Lion's body.
The lion growled in agony as the shadows dragged it into the darkness.
Suddenly, a pop-up displayed:
[Congratulations on Slaying Rare class Supreme Lion]
[New Title: New ruler of den of Supreme Lion]
[Exp Reward: 70]
[Current Level - 1 (9 Exp to Level 2)]
After seeing that, Arlo passed out from blood loss.
After some time, the Supreme Lion was defeated, and the place began to glow red. Arlo slowly began to heal.
Arlo opened his eyes, finding himself leaning against the wall. He noticed a chest in the middle of the room, which had appeared out of nowhere. As he stood up, he was shocked to find himself fully healed, perplexed by the sudden change.
Arlo approached the chest; it was adorned in red with strange inscriptions. He opened it and found a small red stone with a faint white light in the middle.
He picked up the stone, and a window prompted:
[Red Dragon's Eye]
[Inscription: As in the old folklore, Red dragon eyes cure various diseases, give one full energy, increase one's strength, and for players, increase Levels and more. It is said to have limitless possibilities.]

'What are these Player Level Attributes and skill points anyway?' Arlo pondered over their significance.
"Huh, what are these side quests and question marks, and why is the completion of the dungeon at 75%?" Arlo was filled with questions.
Unexpectedly, he noticed an option in the menu:
