"Don't worry, he has your eyes" Mrs Yu said and both women laughed.
"Atleast he came out with something of mine." Liliana smiled as she handed back the baby to an eager mrs Yu.
She was bothered that even through how beautiful that child was, he looked so much like Tang yi and had the Tang's blood flowing in him. what if they tried to take her child away from her. No never she would never let them. they didn't want them then and wouldn't have them now. She was never going to have anything to do with the Tang family and so was her son.
Tang yi sat at the VIP section at the 24Hrs White House bar. More than ten shots of tequila and vodka laying on the table before him. A young man in his 20s sat opposite him and shook his head at the blood shot red eyed Tang yi
"Are you trying to kill yourself?" The young man whose name was Liang Yu shook his head pitifully.
"Won't she forgive my dead body?" Tang yi chuckled. of course she wouldn't that was a rhetorical question that needed no answer.
"Enough xiao Yi please stop..this won't solve anything" Liang Yu said as he snatched The glass out of Tang yi's hand
"what do I do?! what else can I do?" Tang yi yelled as he closed his eyes and laid back in the chair. He ran a hand through his hair fraustrated.
"I warned you bro.. to make it worst you were her first. it may take her some time to forgive you but she eventually will" Liang Yu said with a sigh. He never believed that in their 24 years of friendship would he ever see Tang yi at his lowest like this.
"Young master Yi..." A pale skinned, skinny Chinese beauty walked over to sit beside him.
"Li liwen.." Liang Yu called
"master Liang" Li liwen greeted back in a seductive voice.
"why don't we go cool off young master Yi" Liwen said in a seductive voice and wrapped her arms around Tang yi's waist. Tang yi turned to look at her with his blood shot eyes and pushed her off.
Tang yi stood up and walked out of the club. As he entered the passengers seat of his roll Royce, he dialed a number.
"Have you found her?" he asked the person at the other end of the line
"I followed young master Jingtang and I found out where she lives before he does" the person said.
"hmm.. good job" Tang yi nodded
"Boss..i found out something else" that person said and Tang yi frowned rubbing his temple.
"mm.. go on" he said
"She has put to bed and is currently at Jade memorial hospital in Macao" the person said and Tang yi smiled.
"thank you!" Tang yi said and dropped the call.
"Book an early morning flight to Macao and also send some white rose flowers to Jade memorial hospital in Macao for li" He said as his driver Qiao Li stepped on the acceleration and drove out of the Bar premises.
"what would you name this child?" the doctor asked after examining mother and child. That child was so beautiful everyone at the hospital who saw him or heard about him could not resist but come to see him. Even the nurses and doctors came to see and hold the child, some even gave gifts and money to that child. A reporter who had come to the hospital to see a relative could not help but come to secretly take photos of the popular new born then A few hours after that child was born, he already because popular home and abroad making the headlines in papers.
" I'll name him Yuan "Liliana smiled as the doctor handed over the baby back to Mrs Yu.
"do you have an English name for him? " Mrs Yu asked as she cooed the baby in her arms.
"Aaron because his my moutain of strength to keep pushing on in life" she smiled through her tears.
"Ah yuan granny loves you" Mrs Yu laughed as she nuzzled the child's little nose.
The news of the popular newborn spread across Beijing and the comments by netizens on the net was something that created sides. one side were supporters of Liliana and her beautiful son while the other were supporters of the tang family's
Liliana prepared dinner while Mrs You held baby Yuan and sang him songs. soon her son would return from oversees and their family would be complete and very happy. The door bell rang and Liliana walked out of the kitchen to answer.
"I'll check it..you guys look too adorable for any disturbance" she said as she passed Mrs Yu in the living room heading to the main door and they both laughed. The baby cooed like he understood the mood and was joining in the laughter. The door bell rang again before Liliana reached for the door,she slowly flunged it open and Froze,her heart rate accelerated and tears clouded her eyes immediately. there he was the man whom had turned her life into a living nightmare in just a day. He looked as handsome as the first day she had met him at the Tang mansion but there were also noticable bags and dark circles under his eyes and it was also visible to see he had lost some weight.
"what are you doing here?" she asked turning to look at her son and Mrs Yu. she was visibly shaking scared Tang yi had come to take her son away from her.
"I'm sorry.." He said,his voice hoarse and dry. "I'm really sorry.. I searched for you for so long, please forgive me" He fell on his knees
"you need to go please.. I don't want any trouble..just leave us alone young master please" she said as she moved back when he tried to hold onto her. he was knelt with his head bowed low
"just let me see him please,my son,our son" He looked up at her eyes red and filled with tears
"He's my son,you do not have any right to call him your son... you asked me to tear him out my womb like a rotten tooth..please leave us alone" She yelled in tears as he got up and tried to hold her little face in his large palms. Her heart was breaking,Tang yi was powerful enough to take her son away from her and she didn't want that.. As if the child could sense the mother's fear of separation,He screamed and began to cry,while Mrs Yu tried to calm him down,he refused to be comforted. Liliana shut the door in Tang yi's face and quickly went back inside to carry her child,she took out one of her breasts and started to breastfeed her baby whom had immediately stopped crying when the mother did too and started to suckle on the breast milk happily. some minutes passed and the child fell asleep
Tang yi drove back home with a resolve to get Liliana and his child back no matter what,he needed them like he needed air and Even if he had to take them back forcefully he would, seeing her again awakened a desire to love and touch her,to have her under him,to worship every being of her,to wake up next to her,to make a beautiful little family with her. He wanted her and he'd have her no matter what.
Four months passed and Tang yi stayed away from Liliana and his son even though it was very hard for him now that he had found them.. He had engrossed himself with the company's multiple deals that had been coming in since he had finally taken over as the company's new president. He also prepared to take Liliana to court to gain custody over their child believing strongly that custody over the child would also get him the mother because he knew Liliana wouldn't be able to live apart from her son.
"How could he be so heartless trying to take Yuan from you?!" Mrs Yu said angrily
Liliana sat back down in the chair with Shakey hands and tears glistening in her eyes. Tang yi had done the thing she had feared the most,He had sent her an invitation to The high court in Beijing for the custody over Yuan. she was scared because she knew The Tang family was powerful enough to take her child from her in a blink of an eye💔🤧.
Mrs Yu stood up and paced back and forth the living room space. The front door flunged open and Yu Chennai walked in holding Yuan carefully in his arms. they looked so good together one would mistake them for father and child.
"What's going on?" Chennai asked carefully holding the baby in one arm and shutting the door with the other hand.
Mrs Yu took the court invite from Liliana who sat there with tears in her eyes looking lost and helpless.
"What sort of monster is this? after all he put them through?" Chennai said with a frown obviously upset
"I don't wanna loose my son" she cried as Mrs Yu sat beside her hugging her.
"we'll get a good lawyer" Chennai said looking down at Yuan
He had started to develop feelings for Liliana but also felt the need to protect her like an older brother. She was fragile and she needed someone to love and fight for her. He didn't know what the future held for them but he vowed to protect them untill the end.
Tang yi glanced at Liliana on the other side of the courtroom,he could see how uneasy and fearful she was. He felt bad that it had all come to this but he wasn't going to give up,others might think he was heartless but she belonged with him and that's all he came to believe and hold onto. She glanced over at him but quickly retracted her gaze. He saw the hurt in her eyes, she had lost weight compared to the last time he had seen her. He knew it was all because of the matter at hand. He knew how scared she was of loosing Yuan
The case had been presented,dictated and argued over and while the judge scribbled down on his notepad,The courtroom was in complete silence,the Tang family sat on the other side proud with their backs straight and on the other side was Liliana,the Yu family and her son in Chennai's arms. She could see how much hate Tang yi had glared at Chennai with when they had walked into the courtroom earlier.
"After careful observation and attention,the child shall be handed over to the father's custody as he's most financially and emotionally fit to care for the child. This is my final jurisdiction." The judge said after some minutes had passed. And when he raised his hammer and brought it down to signify the end of the case, Liliana felt like it was her heart that was being hammered. While others Rose for the the judge to leave the courtroom, she sat down there shivering,her eyes devoid of life,even when almost everyone had exited the courtroom,she had neither moved nor saud a word. she just looked on into the empty space. The Tang family walked over to them and took Yuan from Chennai's arms. Mrs Yu held Liliana by the hand and made her stand as she turned to look at her son in Mrs Tang's arms,The memories of all the Tang family had done to her came rushing in and she hugged onto Chennai finally bursting out into tears, Chennai gently rubbed her back as He and Tang yi glared at each other.
When the Tang family got home,they had guests already waiting to celebrate their victory with them. Tang yi held Yuan in his arms proudly parading him around the huge Ball room where everyone wanted to see and touch the little Angel. there were whispers as usual about how unfair it was to the mother but of course no one dared spoke out loud.
while the Tang family celebrated their victory, Liliana was sprawled up on the floor in her room clutching tightly to one of yuan's clothes to her chest. she cried so much,she felt she couldn't breathe properly anymore.. Why was life so cruel to her.
"Dear God, why me?! why would you let them cause me so much pain, why won't you listen to my cries,I'm oppressed,I'm in pain,in so much pain..."she whispered to herself crying.
she fell asleep appreciating the fact that Mrs Yu and Chennai had left her alone to cry out her heart like she had asked.
