Chapter 86 - Three Spells Activate!

Sander merely grinned as he snapped his fingers before the wave could touch him. The tsunami of green froze in midair while frost overtook it, similar to how Layla would freeze the local pond. The girl widened her eyes in fascination.

The Ankou then casually touched the frozen wave, causing it to shatter into tiny beautiful fragments. Like obsidian glass being broken off a window.

"You are still at the mercy of the Tartarus."

"I've never seen Black Ice that stemmed from the Poison Element... But I'm glad to see it before I die..." murmured Layla.

"You ain't dying so don't say that... You silly Lizzie!" chided the Brine King, flicking the girl's forehead.

The Brine King then sensed that it was time and got ready to call the next spell with Layla.

"Are you ready, Layla?" questioned the Brine King as both gripped their weapons.

"Ready as I'll ever be... Pave the way with your moves first," replied Layla as the spider started thrashing about, throwing every spell she could against the group.

The Brine King took control first and started jumping around the spider, spinning the scythe by his side to deflect the spider's poison spit.

Matt gazed in awe as the Brine King's footsteps left prints of glowing blue, which exploded whenever Arakaali launched her webs at it. After getting enough momentum, Layla fully took back control as the Brine King provided her with Enhanced speeds and endurance.

"Our song of hope shall ring true... Cast aside our pain and endure our vows..." chanted Layla as her scythe started to glow and produce bright azure water streams.

As she started to chant, a few points in Layla's footsteps changed into solid discs while the bright azure streams connected them.

"It dances through the night without hesitation... These ribbons are me... The water will rise and bind!" shouted the Dragoon as she dodged another attack.

As she came full circle, the girl smirked as she leaped out of the way and onto Arakaali's body. The six discs that had been solidified were then enlarged and the streams were now thicker and bigger.

"Semestral Oceania Dance!" called out Layla.

The six discs shot out beams of water toward the spider, forcing a ring around her while also restricting her movements.

"Tag, you're it," said Layla as she allowed the Brine King to take over.

"Alright then... Let me know when you're ready to speak to her..."

"I hate that our thoughts are the same..."

"We are using the same head, Layla..." said the Brine King, playfully knocking the girl's head before speaking in the normal realm.

"Oi, Reaper! I think you've got one more trick up your sleeve..." shouted the Brine King.

"Ready on your signal and hopefully that rabbit's got his gun working," said the Ankou as the two passed each other.

Since Layla was still a budding combatant in the realm of Elemental power, her binding spell barely had enough strength to hold Arakaali down. Added to their misery was the amount of poison spit and webs covering the area despite the Ankou's spell being active.

"The Primordial Deity... Birthed by Aether and Gaia, you are the one to deal divine punishment to the wicked. Bind their souls, force them into an eternal darkness..." said the Ankou while his scythe started to gather Dark Elemental Energy.

"My Kingdom comes. My reign stays... Those afar shall gaze in awe; let those near witness me. Myriad hopes shall come together as I roar," started the Brine King as he zipped around the spider.

Once the aquatic King had taken over, he showed off a stark contrast of power and agility compared to Layla before. His movements were more fluid and he was several times faster than the young girl. Instead of azure, the Elemental Streams were greyish-blue.

The Brine King danced around the spider's body, leaving Elemental Streams behind him. Meanwhile, the Ankou gripped his scythe with both hands and jumped up, ready to swing his blade at the spider.

"Come forth; my uncrowned warriors! I call for the strength of my people while I shall lead the way! Shackle my enemies to the ground!"

"Tortures of the Abyss!" called out the Grim Reaper, as he swung his blade at full force, dishing out a massive wave of black Elemental Energy towards the Mother of Webs.

"Chains of the Brine King!" called out the King of the Dead Sea as he fully finished prancing about the giant monster.

He then shifted his scythe, turning the streams of his Elemental Energy into long and massive chains and locking down Arakaali's limbs, rendering her immobile against the Ankou's strike.

After a massive explosion, the Loplin was finally ready to fire off his spell. Matt then carefully aimed and started to chant but before he could, the spider's mouth opened...
