Cerberus then took a deep breath and let out three beams of black Elemental Energy from all of their mouths. The three beams then merged into a single one and barrelled toward the Tenguis, snapping her out of her daze.
"Euphoria's Blossom!" yelled Yun as the war axe's blade detached from the handle and flew upwards.
It then shot the golden orb by an arm's length out and blossomed into a huge golden iris flower with three large petals. It then produced three more layers, right before the roar of the Cerberus could touch the main flower.
Yun stood, rooted to the ground, eventually digging into the dirt to push back the attack. Unfortunately, when she looked up, Yun realized that the Felidae had a nasty trick up his sleeve. Teemo was right above her and was primed with a fully charged blade.
"You're done for, little Angel..." said the Felidae as the main flower started to crack.
"I'm sorry that I've failed you, Mother..."
As the Felidae and Tenguis were left behind to fight each other, it wasn't long until the group stumbled across a giant metal door that was coated with thick webs. Matt hid behind the Ankou when a spider hung from the ceiling.
"The Alpha-ranked bunny is..."
"Afraid of spiders? Yes, yes I am so can someone please get that thing away from me?!" panicked the Loplin as he shakily took out his gun.
The Dragoon can't help but laugh as she casually walks up to the spider and tickles it as if it were a little rabbit.
"Aren't you a cute little spider? So tiny and happy..." cooed Layla as she played with the happy spider.
"Why are you playing with that creepy thing?! Get it away from us!" exclaimed the Loplin, horrified at the scene.
The Dragoon casually grinned before abruptly grabbing the spider and shoving it into her mouth.
"Crunchy..."
The Ankou shook his head as he moved past the group to kick down the large metal door. He then turned to the horrified Loplin to give him some 'Dragoon' advice.
"Layla loves eating small critters... She sees Arakaali like a giant feast for breakfast," explained the Grim Reaper as they went into the Mother of Webs' chambers.
Arakaali was still in her cloud as the green mist swarmed her position, similar to how a tropical cyclone would be.
"Matt, stay back and get ready to shoot your shot from the sidelines so she won't get a chance to target you. Layla and I will distract her but for now, I will get her to wake up from the cloud first."
"The Brine King and Layla should be ready to keep the Mother of Webs in check and away from me while I conjure up my Underworld. Is everyone clear?" ordered the Ankou.
"Anything that doesn't involve going too close to the spider and I am fine," said Mattheos as he prepared his musketoon.
"Fall into the Abyss of the Phantom Queen... O' Goddess of Battle and War... Strike fear unto my enemies while singing the battle cries of my warriors! Holler to me, Morrigan!" shouted the Grim Reaper as he launched himself upwards and struck the giant cloud.
The cloud emitted such powerful screams that the entire place started to quake violently. The Ankou had no problem with the piercing sound as he focused on destroying the cloud, which shattered with a huge bang.
Sander skillfully landed on the wall and slid down whilst also eyeing the newly formed Arakaali. The Mother of Webs no longer had the upper body of a woman, making her look like a giant spider with two elongated fangs.
But there was no denying that she had become bigger than before and that she had completely lost any sign that she was a Goddess of the Water Grid. Layla glanced at the Mother of Webs in sadness as she knew that it was near impossible to recover.
"Will you be alright killing her without any hesitation?" quizzed the young girl toward the Brine King.
"It's not as if I had a choice, do I? And besides, I'm not the one who is actively shooting her..."
"I'm not asking about having a choice. I'm asking if you would be fine if I killed her without mercy... Or would like me to give her a chance to change?"
"She's a lost cause... And you can't give chances to people who have fallen so far from grace..."
"That won't be fair for her... It isn't her fault that she has been turned into this form. I would be in such pain and misery if I'd been in her place as well. And knowing that my lover was going to kill me without hearing me out..."
"I think I would rather kill myself."
