The Felidae leaned closer to the Loplin with a raised eyebrow.
"And since when does the Alpha-ranked Loplin allow a mere Dragoon to defeat him? Are you sure she isn't a temptress?"
"Watch your mouth, you damned feline," growled Matt as he summoned his gun.
"Hey, didn't you say no weapons?" whispered Layla, tugging on the Loplin.
"Yes, but he is getting too close for comfort," replied Matt.
"Oi, oi… This is a shop, not a battlefield. Thus, I urge you to put down your weapon. Anyways, if it wasn't obvious, I am Teemo Vanderleeden and I am-"
"I know who you are. Matt said that you could get me stocked with the best armors with the Elemental Crystals you've embedded…" said Layla, stepping away from Matt's shadow.
"That is true, little miss… But why would a cutie like you want such bulky things? You should be more fitted with dresses and skirts…"
Before any of the males could react, Layla allowed her Elemental Energy levels to skyrocket and flow freely.
Her Elemental Aura formed a large fortress-like wall behind her to assert her powers regarding Magecraft. Teemo raised an eyebrow while Matt squeezed Layla's wrist, only to be burned…
"How the hell can I get burned by a Dragoon?!" yelled the Loplin, wincing in pain and stepping away from Layla.
"Ever heard of ice burns? They are as potent, if not more, as regular flames burning. I'm surprised this lil girl's Elemental Energy levels and Aura are at such a mature scale yet she doesn't know how to regulate it."
"Such a shame," noted Teemo as he drew out a greatsword that caught Layla's attention.
The weapon was massive and looked like it was made with white crystals with a tint of blue. Layla closed her eyes as she quietly summoned up her scythe and pointed it at the Felidae.
"So, can I please have an armor set from you or do I need to wrestle things out from you like getting drunk customers to pay?" asked Layla, twirling the scythe around.
Teemo smirked and then laughed, much to the confusion of the two guests. The cat boy then turned around and walked further into the shop where he reached a door.
"Very well then. Let's see if you are worthy to get one of my Crystal armors. If you don't perform, I'm sending you off to one of my buddies down the street who sells armor a grade lower than mine."
"Sounds fair?" offered Teemo as he swung open the door, revealing a long flight of stairs down into an abyss.
"Why does everyone's main area have to be connected to stairs and the abyss?" grumbled Matt as he rushed towards the Felidae.
"Not my fault you bunnies love the sun…" answered Teemo, as he began descending the stairs.
The duo looked at each other and then at Teemo in trepidation before tailing him.
"Oi Teemo, why are you being so harsh on her? I can pay you the money-"
"I'm not being harsh. If she can't even pass this fight I'm giving her then there's no point in wasting your piece on her. I'm not going to kill her plus, I'm starving for some action."
"It's not every day a cutie like her waltzes into my rundown shop asking for armor to wear," replied the armor-loving cat, ending the sentence with a cheeky smirk.
"Your shop is only rundown because you chose not to maintain it well… Besides, I don't think being glamorous is your style… You just want blue for everything. And lots of armor," said Matt, rolling his eyes.
"I don't see a problem with that… Do you, cutie pie?" asked Teemo, turning to look at the quiet Dragoon.
"Hm? I like blue too…" murmured Layla as she was fixated on not tripping down the stone stairs.
"I thought it'd be purple…" said the Loplin, tilting his head to the side.
"I'm born with purple features so it doesn't mean that I like it. I'm fine with it but given a chance I'd rather have black or midnight blue clothing. For my Elemental Energy, I try to make it as blue as possible but sometimes it becomes aquamarine…"
The Dragoon halted her explanation when she slammed into the person in front of her, which happened to be Teemo. Luckily for the Dragoon, the Felidae had swift hands and caught the girl before she could lose her balance.
The darkness happened to be her friend as it helped to hide Layla's blush, as having such a handsome being wrapping his strong arm around her waist was a bit too much for the girl to bear. The cat then placed her back onto her feet.
"What? Have we arrived? And why are you both staring at me like I've got two heads?"
