When the boys saw Diane's facial expression, they knew this wasn't a laughing matter and with immediate effect, all smiles were wiped off from their faces.
Three seconds passed and Diane still looked mad at them.
"And where is your apology for breaking the rules?" She asked as her gaze moved from one little human to the other.
To think they were pretending to be innocent when they were classified as noise makers.
"I'm sorry," Mason and Miles chorused at the same time.
It was surprising how Diane managed to tell the twins apart when they were identical.
"Your apology is not complete. Start from the beginning and say it until the end, starting from you, Mason. And lift your head," she instructed.
The little boy lifted his head and apologised, "I'm sorry for running into your room without knocking, Mum. I won't do it again."
