"How is it like for you to take care of them?" Sarah asked.
From her screen and the angle at which Diane placed her phone, Sarah could see her walking to and fro from the shelves and back to the kitchen island.
"Aunty, it's not easy. It's been just a few days alone with them and I find myself raising my voice more than normal," Diane answered. "But the good thing is that there are no dull moments with them."
The next second, Diane opened the refrigerator and took out two apples, bananas, kiwis and watermelons.
Since the fruits had already been cleaned, she prepped them and cut them into little chunks in a glass bowl before preparing the sweet liquid for the fruit salad.
"How can you have any dull moments when there is no time to have time for yourself?" Sarah asked.
