Celine was the only person missing from Diane's side at the rooftop party.
While it's true she went for a genuine party, she wouldn't have missed seeing her daughter before moving away for two years for anything.
She was only looking for an excuse not to attend simply because she was mad at Diane for the decision she took.
"The day Mum will let go of her bitterness, that day, she would see just how much longer she can look," Brian said with a cocktail glass in his hand
"Also, please tell her the wrinkles on her forehead are getting more obvious," Diane said to him.
Instantly, he turned to meet her gaze. "Are you indirectly trying to tell her to get more Botox injections and some fillers?"
He knew his mother very well. As soon as she heard something was wrong with her looks, she would immediately book an appointment with her cosmetic specialist.
