"How is everything? How are you doing?" Tricia asked with worry laced in her tone.
She hadn't seen Diane since the day she went on her leave and was bound to think of her with everything that was happening.
"I feel better," Diane replied softly. "Christian's mother and the twins came over yesterday. They will be around until Susie's funeral."
"How are they taking the situation? I bet it hasn't been easy for any of them?" Tricia could only wonder what they were going through.
It wasn't an easy thing to lose a loved one. The hurt alone could send anyone into depression.
A deep sigh escaped Diane's lips. She stared into the distance in the hallway and stopped walking.
"Nothing will remain the same. I'm worried the void Susie left may never be filled."
