Phillip glanced at Ashley before wordlessly picking up the stacks of photos.
Instantly, his gaze fell on Diane looking all dolled up in her wedding dress. He was surprised at how quickly she remarried given her condition. He had thought that she wouldn't want anything to do with marriage after him but it's been confirmed before him that his speculation was wrong.
Phillip's gaze moved to the man standing next to Diane's right and immediately, a bean of recognition crossed his eyes. Ashley saw that and smiled at having gotten a reaction from him.
"She left me for him?" He mumbled as his brows drew close together. This reaction did not go unnoticed by Ashley who had her ears perked, ready to listen to premium gist.
Ashley came to understand a fact. It was Diane who had filed for divorce from Phillip. She chose to leave her marriage, not the other way around.
"So, she divorced you because of her first love, Christian?" She probed.
