"You know my mother, she always has opinions of her own no matter how much you try to survive on your own," Diane replied before asking him to help take off her veil.
"I understand." Christian found a way to remove her veil and passed it to her. "Your mum is not a happy subject to talk about. Enough of about her. Tell me, what would you like to eat before the reception begins?"
Immediately, Diane let out a sigh. She glanced at his shoulder and felt like leaning her head on it but couldn't after recalling that her makeup might stain his outfit.
They still had another photo set to take alone at their wedding venue in their wedding outfits before their guests started to arrive. She couldn't afford to ruin his clothes.
"I think I will have Chinese," she replied.
Christian caught her staring longingly at him and followed her gaze to his shoulder and smiled without saying a word.
