When Nick and Robert walked back to the living room, they met Ashley still sitting in the same position and decided to take up the case.
Robert returned to his seat just like Nick, a clear sign of a serious scolding which didn't go unnoticed by Ashley.
"Ashley, I am very disappointed in you," Robert said with a disappointed gaze pinned on her. "I can't believe that every training that was given to you went right out through the window because you fell for someone who doesn't love you."
Ashley feigned ignorance as she looked between her father and brother who didn't have any hint of warmth in them. "What did I do wrong? I was trying to be helpful to Heirs Group right here," she said in defence.
"In what way were you trying to be helpful?" Nick asked. "Please explain to us, because Dad and I would really love to know."
