By the time Charlie arrived at Emily's location, it was already 12:05 am. It was easy to see her amongst the late-night crowd—she was standing beside her car parked at the side of the road. And by the restless look and movement of her eyes, it was pretty obvious that he was the one she was looking out for.
"Emily!" He called out loud, waving and walking towards her,
Emily's face brightened up when she saw him. A smile of relief rested on it. "Thank God you are here," She beamed, taking his hand,
"So, what do you need help with?" Charlie asked, worriedly, "Is it your car? Did it break down?" He inquired, examining Emily's car with his curious eyes,
"No. No," Emily shrugged it off. "There is just someone in the back seat that I really need help with,"
Charlie was stunned, "What?" He kept his gaze fixed on her for a moment as if waiting for her words to register, "Wow," He finally looked away and peered into the back seat of her car.
