A rocket was bad enough already—but this one pulsed with a devastating amount of Psi-energy. It could've been the weapon that breached the wall.
"Get down!" several people at once shouted, one of them Jagger. "Raise shields!"
Zemin's body obeyed the command mechanically, covering from an attack and raising a telekinetic shield that seamlessly joined the formation with shields raised by Jagger, Danis, and Narcisa. Similar formations appeared in clusters all over the positions of the Soldiers.
Then thought won over the reflexes and foreign memories. Zemin realized that before the rocket landed, he could stop it entirely. As quick as that thought, he reached out with the power of the Void System, about to open a Void Portal that would swallow the rocket whole.
