As my feathers were taken out suddenly a huge aura pressed from above the winator taking them out and to my or rather everyone's surprise he fainted on the spot.
The representatives were all very much startled by this mysterious phenomenon and unbeknown to everyone during it a scarlet star had started shining in the sky but disappeared as soon as it came.
Due to this my awakening ceremony was stopped as so was the one of all the people whose turn came after me.
Although it was resumed in a few hours mine was still not conducted.
When my mother asked about it the authorities only said, "Please move on with his training, the matter about his elementality is highly confidential and for now we are issuing him an Abyssal grade affinity in blood and space also so that he is not looked down upon."
Afterward, while we were departing the colosseum, I saw a figure very familiar to mine. My dad had come back!
When my dad came nearer I jumped to hug him as I had not seen him in a long time. Afterward, I asked, "Dad, how have you been able to come here this season? It's the busiest trade season right?"
To my question, Thallius Salvator (my dad) answered, "How could I not come to one of the most important moments of my son's life?"
"Although we are also sad to say goodbye to you as you will be going to the academy very soon. We are also happy that you're also going to get exposed to the realities of the world. You will make new friends and learn new things. You shall grow more powerful and make our greedy nature flourish haha."
I felt proud about the fact that I would be carrying my family's dreams on my shoulders, but somewhere deep down there was also a deep sense of responsibility and a ....fear of failure.
I replied with confidence, "I shall make a ton lot of money and not let you down mom, dad." Little did I know destiny would not accept me living in peace and earning a ton of money.
Afterward, my mom baked me and dad some cookies which we both gobbled up because who knew when both of us would come back home again.
Before sleeping I said to myself that even if the life at the academy is going to be hard I shall not let my parents down. By the time it's time for me to graduate, I shall be at the top.
In my dreams, I saw a star that was abnormal.... surprisingly blood red. If was surrounded by a vast expense of space. Suddenly I woke up, ran out of the house, and looked up to see a glimpse of the star only for me to faint soon after.
In the morning I was woken up by Mom she told me that Dad had found me outside the house.
Mom tells me to get ready soon because the carriage will come in a few minutes. I got ready like a monkey with its tail on fire and with my luggage stood outside waiting for my journey to begin.
As if on cue a screech resounded from above the house, and with the flap of its mighty wings a magnificent creature landed in front of me. It was a griffin. For those who don't know what that is, it is a magnificent creature with the body of a lion and the wings and head of an eagle.
"Pretty sure that's not a carriage but I guess the people of this world have different terms for everything."
But this griffin was extraordinary. Instead of having its normal color or element which was lightening, this one was violet with blue eyes and various colorful particles on its skin. This color combination meant that this was an extremely rare pegasus with lightning and space elemental affinities.
"Easy Rion, easy boy."
As Warren calmed Rion down, I was laughing my breakfast off. I bet my last life's brother, Rion, would be rolling in his grave right now, coughing out blood if he had any left, but honestly, I feel he should be grateful that such a mighty and majestic creature shared his name.
I quickly shut up before Warren could hear me and waited for him to calm down Rion which he did so in a very short amount of time.
"Warren, long time no see. Well let's talk sometime later because if you don't depart right now the kid will have to wait till the next year for the exam" said mother.
"Come on, do I have to specially invite you?" Warren said in my direction. I felt shocked, as I had thought that a carriage would come to take me and not one of my father's friends. I not wanting to make him wait further tried to climb Rion but was not successful. Warren being in a hurry just lifted me with a gust of wind and made me sit me next to him and even with how astonished I was, I had to quickly settle down as Rio would soon be in the air.
As we were flying above the town I asked Warren, "Why do we, winators, need mounts to travel? We have wings so can't we just use them to travel?"
Towards my question, he replied, "If we were to travel by ourselves wouldn't we waste a lot of energy? Wouldn't this result in us being tired if we had traveled a long distance and then just be almost useless on the battlefield, I'm personally just lazy don't know about others?"
