As we were now 3 people together we started searching for a location to hide in which by the way should be facing the direction of the center of the dome because if the zone started shrinking they could die by getting squashed between for eg the rocks of a cave and the zone.
After roaming through the forest they finally found a safe spot on the top of a tree. They could use their wings and fly to get there, but
"Do any of you know how to fly?" I asked.
We had only recently been awakened so we did not know how to use our wings, for any purpose for that matter.
After an hour we finally found a cave that was facing towards the center of the zone and decided that this would be our resting spot.
"How long will this go on for?" asked a scared Louis.
"Well this sure does feel like a trial with a time limit because of the shrinking zone but I feel there is also a second requirement for the trial to end." said Frnraya.
"I think just like the last trial the second requirement must be the number of people surviving must be only a particular amount." I guessed.
"Is that the zone?" blurted Louis and as we all looked to where he was pointing, to our horror the zone which was quite a distance from us a while ago when we checked had now shrunk and was visible at the end of the cave in which we were in.
As we waited for half an hour in the cave recuperating, the zone was now near us and hence we had to leave the hiding spot we had so meticulously found.
At that moment Frnraya said something obvious and in everyone's mind at that point
"We were awakened only a while ago, have been taught no skills, don't have any power and yet we are facing a 'trail of strength' against creatures we have no hope of winning against."
"This is a trial of survival, not strength. I guess the principal has really messed up grammar to not even know the difference between survival and strength."
As we strolled towards the center along with the zone, we were on high alert as a wolf could jump up at us at any moment.
At that moment we heard a cry and came across a running guy and from the bushes a wolf chasing behind him.
"RUN!!!"
All of us sprinted like we were being chased by death, which was indeed true.
After running for quite a while with the wolf on our tails, and hearts in our mouths, we came across another group, to whom we shouted what was shouted to us a while ago,
"RUNN!!!"
But to our surprise, to our shout, they only woke up from sleep and as they were taking in what was happening, the wolf caught up and tried to kill them only for them to be teleported and lose the trial.
It turned out the limit was reached as the group was of 20 to 30 people with most being disqualified and who knows how many had been before.
And with that, we were once again bathed with the green healing light and teleported to the next trial which according to the principal was supposed to test our wits. But considering what had just taken place, I'd rather not believe that guy.
