Gojo used his appraisal eyes to check his stats. His stats were as follows :
Lapse blue technique : Level 7
Infinity : Level 7
Six eyes : Level 4
Reverse curse technique : Level 4
Reverse red : Level 4
Levitation : Level 1
Appraisal eyes : Level 4

He had to level up his levitation. This would help him carry out better reconnaissance on enemy camps.
Thinking this he stood on the floor and closed his eyes. He cleared his mind and only imagined himself floating in the air. He did this for quite sometime and felt himself floating in the air gradually. He opened his eyes and saw that he was floating in the air and almost touching the ceiling.
Then the door of the room swung open and Grisella entered. She was shocked to see Gojo flying so she let a light scream out. Gojo put a finger over his lips and quickly got down.
" How did you do that ? Can you fly with magic ?" asked Grisella.
" Please, quiet down, I promise I'll explain to you later. " said Gojo.
" Very well, then keep your promise. You are too many surprises day after day. " said Grisella.
That day they got another quest to deal with goblins. They were to go to the village of Elmore, located to the east of Geradin for the quest. There they had to meet the village chief to know more about the quest.
They boarded a horse cart to Elmore. After reaching Elmore they found the village chief and a blonde haired blue eyes female wood elf waiting for them when they went meet the chief.
" Was this goblin extermination quest put up from this village ? According to the quest we are to meet you first. " said Gojo to the village chief.
" Actually it's not me, you are to talk to her regarding the quest. " said the chief as he pointed towards the wood elf.
" Hello, I am Lilian. As you can see I am a wood elf. I have been working for the adventurers guild as a surveyor for more than twenty years. Now moving on to the quest. There are some fortress ruins located in the forests near this village. While exploring the ruins I noticed a bunch of goblins gathered there. " the elf said.
She continued " The gathering didn't look like a normal gathering, as they do for goblin raids since there were hundreds of them. It seems like a goblin king or some other powerful goblin of such equivalent rank has taken control of the ruins. "
" Fine, we have handled a lot of goblins. So that won't be a problem to us. But what about the payment ?" asked Grisella.
" If you manage to clear the ruins of the goblins each of you will get four small copper coins and one big copper coin. We will also compensate you for your travel costs. " replied Lilian.
Hearing everything about the quest they left for the fortress ruins. After reaching the ruins first they looked outside the ruins. There were two goblins standing at the front entrance guarding it. Gojo and Grisella quickly slaughtered the goblins and entered the fortress.
They heard a loud chattering of goblins coming from deep inside the fortress. They followed the source of the sound and came across a room full of goblins.
" You wait over here. I will climb up stairs see what the situation in this room is. Judging by the situation I will launch an attack. You will attack as soon as I attack them with reverse red. You understood ?" asked Gojo.
Grisella wanted to suggest something as the plan was too risky. However she had seen too many antics of Gojo by now so she agreed without a word.
Gojo climbed the stairs to the floor above that room. At the end of the stairs he saw a goblin archer standing gaurd. Gojo tiptoed his way behind the archer and swiftly broke it's neck without a sound. After that he stared down at the room below him.
There were hundreds of goblins all throughout the room. Around ten hobgoblins were gathered at one side of the room. In front of them was standing a hobgoblin wearing a light armour with a sword in one hand. It wore a silver helmet on it's head.
The goblin wearing the silver helmet was giving some speech to the goblins. Gojo decided to commence his attack. He used reverse red technique twice to slaughter dozens of goblins. A number of arrows flew at him. They were fired by goblin snipers. But nothing happened since he had infinity.
Gojo used six eyes to trace the positions from where the arrows were fired and used reverse red to take out the snipers. Then he flew down from where he was standing right in the middle of the goblins. By that time Grisella had also joined the attack and was fighting goblins at entrance of the room.
Goblins from every direction came towards Gojo. He used reverse red, lapse blue and his combat expertise to slaughter a large number of them. The hobgoblins also joined the attack but got taken out one by one by the both of them.
Then Gojo heard quick footsteps approaching him. He turned towards the source of the footsteps but couldn't see anything. Then he felt someone standing behind him. He turned around to find the goblin in the helmet standing behind him.
The goblin struck at him with it's sword but Gojo dodged it. Then he put some distance between him and it but it got behind him using stealth. Gojo then turned around to face it. But by that time it had taken notice of Grisella. It rushed towards her and got behind her.
" Grisella watch out. " shouted Gojo and hurled a bunch of goblins using lapse blue at the hob in the helmet. As a goblin landed on it's face it could not deliver a blow on Grisella with it's sword. The sword missed her by inches as she moved away a little.
The hob tried to continue it's attack but could not as Gojo had already used reverse red technique at him. He tried to use stealth to get away but it's upper body got separated from it's lower body and the two parts fell wide apart.
The rest of the goblins were easily dealt with. By the time they had finished slaying the goblins the sun had already set so they hurried back to the village.
Next day they along with Lilian went to confirm the goblin corpses. To their surprise they counted over five hundred corpses which was unusual for normal goblin armies. In normal goblin it did not exceed 200 goblins.
Furthermore, it turned out that the hobgoblin Gojo had slain was a goblin elite commander.
" It's okay, you will be paid extra by the adventurers guild at Geradin. I will write a report about this. Show that report to get the extra pay. " said Lilian.
Gojo and Grisella returned to Geradin that evening. As stated by Lilian they were paid an additional amount of one small copper coin and a large copper coin. From the following day they continued their daily adventures.
