Rong Nian held Jiang Doudou in his arms as they took the elevator upstairs. Just as they stepped out of the elevator, they were met by a tall man with golden hair and blue eyes.
The man's facial features were deep and sharp, and his pair of blue-green eyes as deep as the sea.
He had been glancing casually until his gaze met Rong Nian's, at which point a burning intensity flooded his eyes.
"Red?" The foreign man strode over swiftly and slapped Rong Nian on the shoulder.
"It really is you, Red. I bumped into your wife the last time and have been wanting to see you again. Didn't expect to run into you so soon," the foreign man bubbled with enthusiasm, his speech a rapid mix of Chinese and English, like a machine-gun firing nonstop.
Rong Nian looked at him puzzled, "You've got the wrong person, I'm not Red."
"NoNoNo," Eric insisted, vigorously shaking his thumb, almost a blur, "I could never forget that face; you are Red."
