"Where did you see Whitey, Rin?" I softly inquired, placing both hands on her stomach, embracing her from behind as she cooked.
Arin shook her head.
I continued to check the room while searching for Whitey. Oh no, where did my other sword go? Not in my room. Not around here either. I made my way to the kitchen; perhaps Whitey was lounging lazily in the dimensional storage because I forgot to put it there, spending time and falling into a deep sleep.
"Ah, there he is."
I quickly strapped my two beloved swords to my waist and headed to the kitchen to eat with Arin. The morning meal approaching noon ended. The journey continued; I prepared to carry Arin to fly into space. Her small, plump body always made me want to carry her. I don't know why.
Around 10 hours, we flew across various different terrains, enjoying the incredible view from space. This is just the beginning; there seem to be many beautiful things waiting ahead. From the vastness of space, we both saw a young elven woman with a sword and bow strapped to her body. She seemed overwhelmed, being attacked by a pack of wolf monsters from all directions, about 30 of them. Arin and I quickly descended to help her.
"Moon Sword Technique, First Form, Moonlight Shine."
With swift movements and an extraordinary sword aura, Arin's attacks aimed at various directions swiftly protected the elf from the pack of wolf monsters. The shimmering of her diamond sword was beautiful, swiftly dispatching several wolf monsters around her.
"Dark Breath, Empty Sword, Third Form, Black Wave Aura."
Like cruel and dark waves, Nima's attack dealt with most of the monsters in front of them. The slashes of the silent black aura were incredibly fast and invisible to the eye, like a massive wave crashing. The remaining monsters felt fear upon seeing his extraordinary figure, emitting a powerful aura, and they fled.
"(no matter how you look at it, he's cool when he's wielding a sword, ah my dear prince. Huh!! No no, what was I just thinking?)" Arin admired Nima's movements and sword techniques.
"Are you okay?" I asked, trying to ensure the condition of the young elven woman.
"Yes, I'm fine. You're both really strong."
"(what is this beautiful elf doing alone here? If she's kidnapped, it could be dangerous, I mean kidnapped by me, hehe)" That's what's going on in the mind of the sword fighter who just saved her, if only he knew.
"What happened? Why are you here alone?" Arin asked, trying to help the young elf woman and suggesting she take a rest under a nearby tree.
"Well, I'm actually looking for medicinal plants for the people in the village. They've been poisoned by demons."
"Demons?" I didn't expect there to be demons in this world.
"Yes, that's right. Actually, demon poison can be cured if we can kill the demon. But the demon is too strong for us, so we have no choice but to rely on medicine. Some people have been sent before to defeat it, but none have ever returned. We, the villagers, assume that they all failed in their mission. That's how it is until I got here and encountered the pack of wolf monsters, and then you came."
"hmm, so that's how it is. Can I visit the village?" Arin asked, intending to see the village's condition first.
"eh? Are you sure? The air in the village area is contaminated with demon poison; you might get affected too."
"(The elf explained and worried about us, even though she's the one injured)" Arin thought about helping her but wasn't sure because Nima hadn't said anything since the elf explained the situation.
"Don't worry, just show us the way," I smiled and asked her to lead. I could also see Arin's relieved expression because I helped them.
"Although it seems a bit late, let me introduce myself. My name is Mira," she extended her hand to both of them.
"I'm Arin."
"I'm Nima."
After exchanging information and gathering some medicinal plants, they finally headed towards the village of the young elf. Because it was quite far from the village and night was approaching, they decided to continue their journey when morning came. It would be dangerous to walk through the forest at night; it was better to rest.
As usual, Nima used the skill 'instant construction' to build a simple house. Mira was amazed to see it. Arin prepared food inside, while Mira prepared a bonfire outside, and as for me? I didn't know what to do, so I sat in the corner because both of them were very reliable. It turns out this is what it feels like to have very reliable companions, especially when both of them are beautiful young women with attractive bodies. How happy.
My hungry and weak stomach danced as soon as Arin came out carrying all the food she had prepared. Mira, who had finished setting up the bonfire, approached to help. It didn't take long for us to finish all the food available due to the exhaustion we had experienced earlier.
I played the guitar for a while after dinner and chatted with both of them. Mira was very interested in my appearance. She looked at me like Arin did when she first heard my singing and songs. Mira seemed to be absorbed in my song because she was an elf; elves are usually more sensitive to music. She watched with silent attention, only staring at me with a charming beauty radiating from her. When the night of song session arrived, we rested inside the simple house.
Fifteen minutes later, after locking the door, closing the windows, and setting up protective magic, Arin cheerfully held my hand under hers, speeding through the room, which was only enough for three people. It was nine o'clock at night, not too late; the moonlight began to gently enter the gaps in the wood where we were, and the fresh air of the forest still lingered.
I helped Mira lay her body on the bed.
Arin swiftly passed Mira, looking jealous because I paid more attention to Mira. Of course, I did this because of her previous experience, which almost got her killed by the monsters. At least I had to give her more attention. But Arin interpreted it a little differently, and her jealousy was evident on her face. If I were more cheerful, I would joke, "Pass again over there, Mira! Faster!" and laugh.
But luckily, I'm not that crazy. Even if she replied, Mira would laugh back and say, "But don't tell her that I overtook her secretly."
