~FLASHBACK~
My eyes widened as I discovered that it was Alpha Logan that the sword cut. I was standing directly behind him and I could see his torn and bloodstained uniform and the large cut that ran from the upper part of his back at the left to the lower part of his back at the right.
Run!". He told me without turning to look at me. "Go! Don't let anyone see you or catch you".
Although reluctant, I fled. I ran with my shaky legs and kept turning behind to look at him.
More men were moving towards him and he kept fighting them off with precision.
"Where are you running to?". Jess asked as I kept running.
"I'm not sure, Jess". I told her wondering exactly where to go.
This looked like an opportunity to finally leave the Shadow pack and go find my mother. I could just run away and never show up.
