After 15 days of travels the duo finally arrived at their destination, "Excuse us we would like to pass." As the guard heard those he was intently looking at them and authorized them to pass while telling them "Welcome back.", and so as they were walking, the other villagers recognized and yelled, "Ace and Isabella are back!" with that all eyes were on them, they were surrounded by the villagers who were welcoming them back.
"Ace!" yelled a person in the masses, as Ace turned to face them the one he saw was none other than Ellie, his mother. He runned straight to her and she hugged him strongly with a teary face and he then said "I'm back home, mom." With an appeased smile. Isabella whom her parents had not seen for a while also embraced their daughter, it was an emotionally-filled situation.
And so, both of them went back with their families. As Ace was in the house talking with Ellie, a huge sound was heard at the door and it was followed with "Where is he? Where is Ace?" said Chris who then barged in the room. "Well I'm glad to see you are still the same as always dad. Um, I-i-I'm back." Said Ace as he faced him with an anxious smile. "Welcome back son" said Chris as he hugged him.
"So, how long do you plan on hiding lil' bro?" asked Ace as he slowly approached, "I know I promised to come back and I'm sorry that it took so long, I apologize so won't you come out and greet me?" said Ace as Shaw came out of hiding shyly coming to greet him with a teary face. "I'm back, Shaw." With that the little brother embraced his sibling crying and saying "Welcome back big bro Ace." And like that the Blakelord family was once again reunited.
With that out of the way, the family gathered around a the table and enjoyed the warm home-cooking of Ellie. As he tasted it, "It's been so long but the meals you prepare are always the best." He said while having tears running down his face. And so with the evening, Ace slept with Shaw and the day of the returnal went without a hitch.
The next morning, the family enjoyed a nice breakfast. After that Shaw and Ace brawled just like in the old times. "He's improved so much in just a mere three years well with Chris teaching him I'm pretty sure he has become that much stronger but you're not the only to one to have improved." He thought while evading Shaw's strikes and using grappling techniques to pin him down. "AAAAHHH! I give up, I give up." Said Shaw, "Hahaha, you might have improved but I also became stronger." Said Ace while also bickering with his sibling.
"Okay dad, you're next." Said Ace with a confident smile on his face. "Okay, let's go then." He answered. "I'm going to beat him, hihihi." Monologued Ace. "Ready then start" announced Shaw, "Now let's go, ?!" as he said that Ace saw a flashing flame slash heading for him, and just as he managed to evade the attack, "You've become strong. Only another moment and you would have beat me but from where I am you lost, son." Said Chris as his sword was being held just inches from Ace's face while the son's sword wasn't close enough in distance to strike.
"Aaargh, I thought I was going to win but you really are monster Chris." Said Ace as Chris knocked on his head with force, "Learn to respect your elders cheeky brat." He said. "Hahaha! You got grounded Ace." Said Shaw, "You little…come back here right now! I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget." Said Ace as he ran after Shaw.
"You truly became quite strong Ace, if I hadn't taken the advantage in that spar I would have lost. That much is certain but I still can't let you beat me easily just not yet." Monologued Chris, "Okay boys let's go back home and have lunch, okay?" said Chris. "Okay" responded Shaw, "Sure, I'm starving. Hmmm?" said Ace as he told them to go on ahead. "Hey Iza." He said as he yelled. "Oh Ace, nice to see you." Responded Isabella. "And so you're going to see miss Maria, then I'm going with you." Said Ace after hearing what Isabella was up to.
"Oh Ace, Isabella, long time no see the both of you have grown much in such a short time." Said Maria as her former students greeted her. They spent some time with her telling her about the Academy and after that they left. "Hahaha, she hasn't changed much either she is still the nice teacher we always knew." Said Ace as Isabella agreed. As they continued with their chatter and walk, the sun was setting. "Well how about we see each other tomorrow?" said Isabella, "Sure, well see you tomorrow." He said. Jumping in with a kiss on the cheeks, "Yes see you tomorrow." She said while Ace had a surprised face.
