In the endless darkness that surrounded me I made a realization.

'I am aware.'

Yes. Even though I was supposed to be dead I was aware of my own existence and the darkness that surrounded me due to lack of perception

'Am I in a coma. Was all of that a dream.'

I didn't have to wait long to get my answer, a bright light shine in front of me before an all too familiar interface appeared in front of me.

The same interface I had just used to create a character.

|||Attention All. Before your world is fully digitised you will be briefed on the new world you are going to live in from now on.|||

'I seem to have transmigrated into the world of Apocalypse descend'

That was the most reasonable scenario.

And judging from the message it is safe to say I am not the only one. It seems as if the entire world as been digitised.

After a long while the so called education which was just me suddenly being aware of a few things finnaly stopped.

I started sorting the new infor.ation in my head.

"Our world would be a game to humans from another world who would be our masters. These masters were to build shelters were a everyone who designed a character would be a NPC warrior for hire.

The ones who didn't design their characters would be NPC's that were randomly summoned into the shelters.

"In this world.. no. It had always existed. Mana. It was an existence that was fundamentally the same yet different from matter.

Normally both entities can't communicate unless it was through a medium called aura that was only present in living things. But even then, the use of mana is very hard.

So the best way to make use of mana was with the help of spirit arts. Mana represented the concepts of the world so a spirit which was living mana could be born from anything.

And through turning these spirits into parts of what could be described as a implement to the machine called one's soul one could use mana to carry out a lot of things.

'It was complicated but the more I thought about the more simpler it seemed to become, could this be because of my karma traits. Oh shit.!" While I was thinking I suddenly realised.

I realised that the penalties I had set for myself would manifest in my new body by the end of the digitisation.

'Fuck. This is gonna be a headache.'

Before I could continue my little shenanigan I sensed the interface again.

|||Opening spirit room. All traits are applied. Please create your first spirit art before you are introduced into the game.|||

|||First time benefits. All items that can be provided will be provided by the system.|||

Suddenly, I realised I could sense my surroundings again. Not through my eyes but still.

When I tried to get used to this feeling I suddenly felt a stinging sensation in my head before everything became clear to me.

'Whats going on?' I thought to myself as I had never been able to think so straight before. It was exhilarating. I felt like I could recall all the things that I had experienced before and I could easily understand anything I wanted.

'These must be the positive traits of my mental aspect. Seeing as I am doing well thinking so far then that means that the penalties will only be added when I enter the world.'

Calming down I decided to assess this place I considered to be my mind realm. It was dark and empty. I didn't know if it was suppose to be so but I just decided to get working.

First of all, what sort of spirit art would I want?

Well that was easy, the one that would help me survive in any given situation. After getting that straight I headed straight to work.

I first looked at the things that have me powers like clairvoyance before.. you know what. Skip all this.

(I'm too lazy to think of something to put up here.)

So after skipping what I felt was too hours I was done.

|||Spirit art: XX god seal.|||

|||Upon assigning a particular concept to XX user is able to achieve a state of enlightenment on XX and can use the seal as a medium to properly control the power of XX.|||

These place was really thorough. They were actually information in the so called list of resources and the fact that think about something first made a selection of books appear was really important.

Looking at the art, I felt satisfied. The skill might not look like much but let me make things clear.

The spirit art were nothing more than a medium. Something superficial that might be lost at any time but my understanding of something was my own.

I had my doubts but I was pretty sure that just relying on these spirit arts were going to have adverse effects on my growth.

After crosschecking everything and realising I still had another 2 plus hours here I decided to test my skill out.

'Now what should I do? Oh I know.'

At that moment I activated my art and said sword.

Instantly I could feel the mana around my incomplete body, I seemed to be in a vegetative state at the moment but that wasn't what was on my mind.

I felt something I have never felt before in my life. It was a strange entity that I couldn't quite grasp that much but I instinctively knew what it was, 'Mana.'

But when I "looked" closer and could feel it. This mana wasn't just mana. It seemed to be made up of these tiny little chains that composed of another substance I couldn't quite get my hand on.

Instantly I turned to the system's resources. Instantly a thick book manifested in my mind realm.

Opening the book and reading a few paragraphs, I was able to tell. 'So that's what it is uh'.

"What is mana, Mana is one of the three fundamental entities which are Matter, mana and Manis."

"Mana is similar to matter in the sense that it is made up of smaller components. Mana is gotten from the concepts realized by matter where matter comes from Manis."

"Matter is made up by chains of primotons which are each made up of Artons. Artons can be classified based on the the plausibility. Plausibility is determined on a scale of 1 to infinity pls. Artons of different plausibility are used to make primotons which have different effects upon the complete realization of a concept a primoton chain is formed. These chains are the building blocks that make up mana."

=_=

'Fuck this is giving me a headache.'

Why was it all so complicated. Why can't the world give us something easy like in those other webnovels to work with. Mana research should be like a whole course. And here I thought chemistry was hard.

'Phhhhhhh. Ahhhhh'

'Inhale, Exhale.'

After three rounds of messing around I decided to do a bit of mana research before I get thrown into this world.
