Just as William completed his first trial and moved on to the next challenge, someone else entered the arena. The broken golem, which had been lying lifeless moments earlier, suddenly hummed back to life as the new challenger arrived.
"Hmm, so the first challenge is a fight? Great, nothing better than this," the newcomer, Silens, muttered to himself. His eyes gleamed with a dangerous light, and in an instant, his body began to shift and transform. Scales sprouted across his skin, scarlet and gleaming like molten lava. A radiant halo-like glow formed behind his head, and in a matter of moments, Silens had fully transformed into a massive dragon, standing over 12 meters tall.
The golem charged at him, but Silens was unimpressed. With a casual opening of his mouth, a brilliant crimson beam of energy erupted forth, obliterating the golem in one shot, leaving nothing but scattered debris.
