After rendering the security guard and Takayama Myou unconscious, Chen Yu silently apologized to them. It was a desperate measure to enter the institute. Mirai, too, kept apologizing to them, stating that if it weren't for Chen Yu's insistence that they were blocking the path to awakening another Ultraman, Mirai would never have acted.
"It's okay, Mirai, you shouldn't feel guilty. Our actions are for the sake of this world," Chen Yu reassured Mirai, patting his shoulder. "I believe if they knew the reason, they would agree with being knocked out by you."
Despite finding Chen Yu's words a bit odd, Mirai felt somewhat justified. After all, their actions were meant to save the Earth and they hadn't harmed the two.
However, Chen Yu didn't plan on taking Mirai along into the institute. It would be inconvenient for them to move together, especially since Mirai was wearing a Defense Team uniform, which was quite conspicuous. It made more sense for Mirai to stay in the security room to watch over the guard and Takayama Myou, to prevent any accidents.
After scanning Takayama Myou, Chen Yu, while muttering apologies, took his work badge and put it on himself. With the badge, he wouldn't appear out of place inside the institute. Chen Yu believed he wouldn't be recognized since people are generally too busy with their work to pay much attention to faces.
"Mirai, stay here and keep an eye on them. I'm going to find that Ultraman so we can save the world together," Chen Yu said, glancing at the two lying on the ground. "If they wake up, knock them out again, but remember not to hurt them."
"Got it!" Mirai nodded in understanding.
Chen Yu then made his way into the institute's plaza, heading towards the building under the cover of an umbrella. The institute's building was quiet at night, and the few people who saw Chen Yu enter, noticing his badge, didn't question him.
Looking around, Chen Yu chose a direction and walked. He wasn't sure if Professor Fujimiya was still at the institute, so asking someone would be quicker. Luckily, a staff member walked by, and Chen Yu approached to ask, "Excuse me, do you know if Professor Fujimiya is still here?"
"Yes, I just saw Professor Fujimiya. He should be in his office now," the staff member replied after a glance at Chen Yu's badge.
"Forgetting for a moment, what floor is Professor Fujimiya's office on again?" Chen Yu asked, pretending to forget.
"It's on the top floor. How could you forget that? Professor Fujimiya likes quiet places," the staff member said, finding Chen Yu's face somewhat unfamiliar.
"Thank you," Chen Yu smiled, quickly heading to the elevator before the staff member could react further.
Reaching the top floor, Chen Yu saw an office door marked "Hiroshi Fujimiya." Without hesitation, he approached and knocked on the door.
"Come in," came a steady, young voice from inside.
Chen Yu entered, finding a man looking out towards the sea through a glass wall, a sight that surprised him.
"Do you have an emergency to come looking for me this late?" Fujimiya turned around, his gaze landing on Chen Yu's flipped work badge, unable to see the name.
"There is an urgent matter," Chen Yu nodded, closing the door behind him, which alerted Fujimiya.
"Who are you?" Fujimiya's tone cooled, "You're not from our institute."
"You have keen observation, Professor Fujimiya," Chen Yu smiled. "How did you realize my identity?"
"Hmph," Fujimiya scoffed. "The naivety and foolishness in your eyes gave you away. How could you possibly belong here?"
Chen Yu took a moment to grasp Fujimiya's insult.
Cutting to the chase, Chen Yu said, "I'm here to recruit you to save the world. If you've dreamed of becoming an Ultraman recently, you'll understand what I mean."
Fujimiya's expression remained calm, "You're interesting. How did you know about my dream?"
"I not only know about your transformation into Ultraman but also that you become Agul," Chen Yu revealed, hoping to shock Fujimiya with his accuracy.
Fujimiya was indeed slightly surprised, prompting Chen Yu to continue, "And more," handing over Takayama Myou's badge. Fujimiya's shock deepened upon recognizing the name.
"High Mountain Myou! My dream comrade in battling monsters as Ultraman!" Fujimiya's astonishment grew as he realized Chen Yu's knowledge matched his dream.
"You've been looking towards the sea because, in your dreams, you feel a special connection to it, right?" Chen Yu probed further. "After all, Agul is the light of the sea."
Hearing Chen Yu's words, Fujimiya felt compelled to understand this stranger's purpose, as his accuracy was uncanny.
"You haven't told me your name yet," Fujimiya inquired.
"Chen Yu," he replied, eyeing Fujimiya intently. "I'm here not just for any reason, but to save this world. As a physicist, you must have researched parallel universes."
