Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 The Grand Assembly

"I understand what you're saying," Hiroshi Fujimiya began, "You mean to say that in other parallel universes, I am Ultraman."

"It seems you're already quite familiar with this concept."

Indeed, explaining the situation to the knowledgeable Fujimiya made things easier.

Now, Fujimiya almost didn't need Chen Yu to explain further; he understood the truth behind Chen Yu's words.

"Since you understand, I ask that you please take action when the monster appears tomorrow. This world needs you to save it."

"I would have intervened regardless," Fujimiya replied with his usual pride. "But I'm curious, how did you know I'm Ultraman?"

Chen Yu shared with Fujimiya the story told by the little girl in the white dress to Mirai, which decreased Fujimiya's skepticism towards Chen Yu.

With Fujimiya effectively "joining" the ranks of Ultraman, Chen Yu didn't plan to individually approach the other Ultraman human hosts. Instead, he hoped to use Fujimiya's reputation as a renowned physicist to quickly contact these Ultraman hosts and awaken them.

When Chen Yu informed Fujimiya that there were seven other Ultraman warriors whose memories had yet to awaken, Fujimiya was shocked. In his dream memories, he only knew of Takayama Myou as Gaia Ultraman.

"Among the Ultraman yet to awaken, four appeared in this world's TV shows: Ultraman, Jack Ultraman, Seven Ultraman, and Ace Ultraman," Chen Yu explained to Fujimiya. "The other three warriors include your acquaintance Takayama Myou, or Gaia Ultraman."

"And the other two?" Fujimiya asked Chen Yu.

"The other two are Takayama Myou's close friends, one named Daigu and the other Hayata Shin," Chen Yu continued. "That's why I want to leverage your influence to summon them here and explain the situation."

"When will the monster appear?"

Fujimiya's final question.

"Sometime tomorrow morning, so we need to act quickly."

Chen Yu answered.

Fujimiya nodded, then made a phone call.

Chen Yu glanced at Fujimiya's phone screen and saw that the call was to none other than Takayama Myou.

"That call to Takayama Myou might not go through."

"Why?"

"Guess why his work badge is with me?"

Fujimiya: "…"

When Takayama Myou showed up in Fujimiya's office, still holding a grudge against Chen Yu and Mirai for knocking him out without explanation, he was ready to confront them if not for Fujimiya's presence. However, after Fujimiya explained the situation, Takayama Myou was stunned:

"Professor Fujimiya, you're not seriously believing this guy, are you?"

"Myou, I know you've studied the multiverse extensively, and the appearance of Ultraman and monsters today is real," Fujimiya assured.

With Fujimiya's word, Takayama Myou was completely convinced, given the professor's credibility.

Following Chen Yu's request, Fujimiya had Takayama Myou notify Daigu and Hayata Shin. As Takayama Myou's close friends and upon hearing it was Professor Fujimiya's invitation, they rushed to the institute even late at night.

Chen Yu met this world's Daigu for the first time. Though a salaryman here, his demeanor was almost identical to that of another universe's Daigu.

After introductions, Daigu and Hayata Shin became acquainted with Chen Yu and Mirai. Chen Yu learned from the conversation that Daigu, like Chuzo Tann and Hokuto Seiji, hadn't experienced any unusual dreams and slept peacefully.

When told about their roles as Ultraman in another world and the need to awaken their memories to save this world, Daigu immediately believed it. Given Daigu's belief in Ultraman's existence in the original story, his acceptance wasn't surprising.

Moreover, having Fujimiya, a respected physicist, vouch for the story lent it credibility.

Hayata Shin was skeptical, but seeing his friends Daigu and Myou convinced, he chose to believe Chen Yu's words.

"Besides you, there are four other Ultraman warriors you're familiar with, your uncles," Chen Yu told the trio. "They are Hayata, Ide, Chuzo Tann, and Hokuto Seiji."

"This sounds a bit far-fetched…"

From a normal perspective, Hayata Shin couldn't connect those uncles with Ultraman.

"You haven't awakened your memories yet, so it might seem far-fetched," Chen Yu said. "But it's late, and disturbing these gentlemen now isn't ideal. How about we meet here tomorrow morning to inform them?"

"No problem."

Fujimiya agreed with Chen Yu's proposal, as calling out the elderly late at night wasn't appropriate.

The trio nodded, finding the situation increasingly unbelievable but trusting in Professor Fujimiya's endorsement.

After Daigu, Hayata Shin, and Takayama Myou left, Chen Yu turned to Fujimiya.

"Is there anything else you haven't mentioned?"

Seeing Chen Yu's stare, Fujimiya asked curiously.

"No, you know that Mirai and I aren't from this world," Chen Yu began. "So about tonight's accommodation…"

Fujimiya immediately understood Chen Yu's hint, offering, "The institute has a rest room. I'll arrange for you two to stay there."

"Thank you."

Chen Yu expressed his gratitude.

The next morning, Daigu, Hayata Shin, and Takayama Myou, along with the four elders, arrived at the institute. Fujimiya had them picked up, considering it inappropriate for the elderly to travel early. They were a bit confused upon arrival but came at the invitation of Professor Fujimiya, whose reputation was significant.

When the elders reached Fujimiya's office, Chuzo Tann and Hokuto Seiji were surprised to see Chen Yu.

"I have a feeling that what's about to happen will be quite extraordinary," Hokuto Seiji connected Chen Yu's questions from the previous night to the current situation.
