Chapter 16 - Where did you get this from?

But the woman had eyes only for the ham sausages and eagerly began to eat, leaving Dylan speechless.

After the hasty meal, Dylan never looked back.

But now, having a beautiful woman in front of him all day long was really getting to him.

If only he could turn Alberta into his woman, then everything would fall into place.

Determined, Dylan decided that while Alberta bathed in the evening, he would directly conjure up a table of dishes from the Seaside Hotel from the space.

As for how to explain to Alberta, he would have to wait until she became his.

The dishes were still hot, and the aroma filled the air, just like when they were first served.

He quickly took out two bottles of red wine and poured a glass for himself and one for Alberta.

If only he had lit two candles too!

With everything prepared, he waited to surprise Alberta.

Sure enough, when Alberta came out of the bathroom, she sniffed the air, recognizing the familiar smell.

She hurried into the living room to find a table full of food, all from the Seaside Hotel, all prepared by Chef .

She couldn't believe it, rubbed her eyes, approached to make sure it was real, then looked incredulously at Dylan, "Oh my! Where did you get this from?"

"This is still hot, my goodness, even the plates are from the hotel!"

" how did you manage this? Why didn't I notice?"

Dylan chuckled at Alberta's excitement and coughed, "Alberta, I don't think that should be your main concern!"

Alberta suddenly froze, looking at Dylan incredulously, somewhat nervous, "You... you mean..."

"Yes, that's exactly what I mean!"

Dylan didn't spell it out, he wanted to see how Alberta would react.

Alberta was clearly a bit stunned, her mind a bit fuzzy. She was excited; she had liked Dylan for a long time.

But she was afraid she wasn't good enough for him. He was handsome, wealthy, and took care of her, while she felt she had nothing to offer in return.

Should she still be coy?

She had so many suitors in college, but she never agreed to any of them because she hadn't met her prince charming. But when she saw Dylan, she felt her heart skip a beat.

And then, by chance, she ended up trapped in Dylan's villa.

Was this fate? So, she should be more proactive and pursue Dylan herself.

Thinking this, Alberta made up her mind and asked earnestly, "Dylan, can I be your girlfriend?"

Upon hearing Alberta's confession, Dylan finally smiled.

He leaned close to Alberta's ear and whispered, "Okay."

Seeing Alberta's blushing face, Dylan lifted her chin with his hand, wanting to seize the moment for a romantic gesture.

Seeing Dylan's intense gaze, Alberta seemed to guess what was coming next, and she shyly closed her eyes.

"Ah~ ah~" Just as Dylan was about to make a move, the little crow coal ball chirped.

Both of them startled at once.

"Shut up!" Dylan exclaimed, annoyed.

The ambiguous atmosphere was shattered, much to Dylan's chagrin.

This little thing always ruins good moments.

The coal ball chirped twice more, clearly expressing its displeasure with Dylan.

Dylan and Alberta exchanged awkward smiles, but it was impossible to continue further.

They decided to enjoy the sumptuous dinner on the table first.

It was a pleasant dinner, with both gradually adapting to their new roles.

Dylan drank glass after glass of red wine, while Alberta, for the first time, didn't switch her drink, quietly sipping her wine.

Dylan couldn't help but marvel at the dishes Dorothy prepared, each one distinctive and unforgettable.

It seemed like he should visit the Seaside Hotel sometime in the future. He wondered if Dorothy was still trapped there.

When he left, he gave Dorothy ten thousand dollars, intending to close the hotel temporarily to keep Dorothy trapped there.

It was a good place, with food and drink, ensuring she wouldn't starve. It also made it convenient for him to find her.

If he could bring Dorothy to the villa, he wouldn't have to worry about what to eat in the future.

In the apocalypse, being able to enjoy such delicious food was definitely a luxury.

After finishing the meal and tidying up the leftovers, Alberta quickly brushed her teeth again and without a word, hurriedly went upstairs.

Dylan didn't mind. She couldn't escape from the villa anyway.

After taking a thorough shower and brushing his teeth twice, Dylan satisfiedly went upstairs.

He noticed that Alberta's door was closed.

Dylan knocked on the door.

"Alberta, are you asleep?""I... I'm already asleep, you should go to bed too," came Alberta's unnatural voice from inside the room.

Dylan chuckled, thinking she could hide? Not a chance!

"Oh dear, I had a bit too much to drink, felt dizzy after the shower, and now I can hardly stand. Could you help me back to my room?" Dylan continued to play-act outside the door.

Alberta covered her head with the blanket, thinking, "I don't believe you."

"Oh dear, I can't do it anymore, I feel like I'm walking on walls!" Dylan continued his antics outside the door.

Alberta lifted the blanket, revealing her head, and asked worriedly, "Are you really drunk?"

Dylan smirked, "Oh dear, when have I ever lied to you? I can't do it anymore, I'll just sleep in the corridor!"

Concerned that he might actually be drunk, Alberta worried he might freeze sleeping in the corridor.

Forget it, she thought, I'll just help him. He won't eat me, will he?

She quickly got out of bed and opened the door, only to see Dylan leaning against the wall, his eyes glazed over, staring at her.

"It seems like you're really drunk. Let me help you into the room, and then I'll leave. Make sure you cover yourself with the blanket," Alberta said.

"Okay," Dylan agreed.

Dylan took Alberta's shoulder and slowly guided her towards his bedroom.

The gesture was quite ambiguous, making Alberta blush, but she couldn't break free and had to endure it.

Entering the bedroom and reaching Dylan's oversized double bed, Alberta was about to withdraw and let Dylan lay down!

But suddenly, Dylan exerted force and caught Alberta off guard, pressing her beneath him.

A fragrance filled the air, and Dylan took a deep breath.

Alberta was taken aback and tried to get up, but she couldn't move. Flustered, she said, "Dylan, you dece... mm..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Dylan kissed her.

Alberta's mind went blank instantly; her first kiss was taken away just like that.

The night was long, but dreams were short!

...

It wasn't until the next afternoon that Dylan slowly woke up!

Opening his eyes, he found Alberta looking at him tenderly.

Blushing at being caught, she huffed, "Deceiver!"

Dylan laughed heartily, "What did I deceive you about, tell me!"

Alberta was tickled by Dylan's teasing, giggling, "You... you deceived me... hmph!"

But she was too shy to say it out loud in the end.
