Chapter 11 - A Day At The Beach

One week flew by in the blink of an eye. Rei managed to learn the Fangs of Spark within three days and was training for even greater mastery of that jutsu. As he trained, Rei sensed Wicked approaching. Wicked placed his hand on Rei's back and said, "Rei, it's so boring training all the time. Let's go somewhere to relieve this boredom." Wicked suggested.

"Hmm, you're right," Rei nodded in agreement. "Have you asked Ruby?" Rei inquired.

"Yes, she says she will come," Wicked replied.

"Let's meet with her," Rei suggested.

In the office section, Rei asked, "Okay guys, have we decided where to go?"

"Let's go to a restaurant; it's been a while since I tasted good food," Wicked proposed.

Ruby snorted because most of the time, she was in charge of preparing their meals.

The trio made their way to a restaurant named 'São Paulo,' located in the east of Shatnol near the sea. From the restaurant, patrons could see the sea. They ordered some fried chicken with mushrooms and a dish called 'Nel,' which is made with 'Alotera' and 'Rolat,' ingredients uniquely found in Shatnol. After eating, they went to the beach to enjoy the sea.

"Since we're here, let's go to the beach," Ruby suggested.

Rei and Wicked nodded in agreement.

It was evening, and the refreshing air was blowing. The sound of waves crashing on the shore amazed them.

"What a beautiful environment; coming here was worth it," Wicked said with a smile.

"True," Rei replied in agreement. Even in his previous life, Rei hadn't gotten to enjoy such a scene. Ruby nodded happily.

"Hey, you three, move aside. The young master will take photos here," a man said from behind.

"No, we won't move. We got here first," Ruby retorted.

"Don't get on my nerves. When I say get out of the way, you should get out of the way, or else I will make you regret it," a black-haired male with rich clothes threatened.

"Be careful, guys. I sensed some chakra from the bodyguard of this guy; they may be at genin level," Rei said quietly.

"I'm an elite chunin; I'll crush them. Besides, you're also a chunin, Rei. We can beat them," Ruby said confidently, lifting her chin.

"Enough chit-chat. Go away or die," the man said with visible arrogance.

"Guys, those genins' chakra signatures look similar to those of Ankar. For now, let's leave their sight and follow them," Rei suggested.

They moved away, and the young master snorted at them with arrogance.

"I'll kill this thing today," Ruby clenched her fists.

It was 7 o'clock, and most people had returned from the beach. The so-called young master and his friends made a barbecue with many beverages. There were eight people: the young master and his friends, and the genin guards.

"It's time to make our move," Rei said with a smirk on his face.
