Echo could not have been so annoyed. This hatchling was so loud, sure, all hatchlings are loud when he picks them up randomly, but after the sings the song most Deathsongs use to calm dragons or hatchlings down, they stop... But this... this hatchling did NOT care. Well, I suppose that adds to the special factor Sephra said I should look for after she partially gave up on finding them.
It finally stopped crying after we had passed more than halfway to Melody Island, one of the three islands most Deathsong's are located. Since he was a Melody, he'd originated from Melody Island. Sephra was a harmony but left to become a rouge for a reason she did not tell me.
The hatchling was special, to say the least. It was not very colorful, in fact, it was mainly white and dull grey, though it did have some color. Some parts of it like its fins, spines, and wings were mainly different shades of pink. It looked weird, acted weird, and even sounded a bit weird too... Or maybe that was just him.
Echo landed in Sephra's cove, she was up high, staring into the distance. She was bigger than the average Deathsong, which did in a way unnerve him, but she was really sweet and caring. She soon noticed him land and glided down to him.
"Did you find one, did you find them?"
"Them? As in, multiple?"
"Yes, yes, it MUST be two."
"... Well, I found one, it looks weird as you said."
"Special. Let me see."
"Alright," He took the hatchling, who was apparently asleep or passed out, gently in front of Sephra. She quickly sniffed it. "Sooo... Is it...?"
She brightened up significantly, "Yes, yes he is! Oh sister, I promised you I'd find them."
He prepared to take off, "On down, one more to go..."
Suddenly, Sephra appeared in front of him, wings wide open. "No, I've asked too much from you. You've been doing this for years... Just because you can. Let me find the other one."
"Well..." He muttered, "I'm going to stay, I mean, how else am I going to watch the hatchling I spent years to find grow up well? It would be a waste not to."
Sephra chuckled, folding her wings neatly. Backing up a bit before taking the unconscious hatchling in her tail.
"You dare doubt an experienced mother?! Though, I suppose you have a point..." She said with playful nobleness, "I shall not throw you to the dragon hunters after all... And I'll even let you stay."
"Oh, thank you very much, your majesty. It is so amazing that a dragon of such high status would spare such a lowly deathsong such as myself."
Sephra laughed a bit, spreading her wings to prepare for take-off. "I'll take this little one back to my nest, perhaps I'll call him Zero."
"Well, then Zero is a loud one. I'm going to get myself a snack." He half-heartedly complained.
Her grin vanished as soon as he said that. He sighed, "Oh come on, Seph. We eat dragons to survive, as unnerving as to might be to you for some reason."
"I know... But they living sapient things, I get hunters but... dragons that did nothing to you just doesn't fit right with me..."
"Ah... You're just like your sister. Well, how about this, I'll TRY to target hunters, kay?"
"You don't have to but thanks.."
He flew off, having a feeling that this Zero is going to be a lot of trouble.

I woke up groggily, rubbing my head and groaning. I can't belive I managed to pass out. I looked to where my hand should be, and instead there were claws. Okay so NOT a dream, and I'm not dead so that's good. I was in a nest on a clifftop, overlooking a cove.
I heard a gentle grumble, "Looks like little Zero is awake..."
Usually, I would jump back with fear. But something about this female deathsong makes me feel comfortable, she feels safe. I tilt my head at her, who was this? Where was the other deathsong from the show? She was curled up in the nest.
"You a special, so I hope you understand me, and can talk soon... I am Sephra, I suppose you can call me a mother. Your name is Zero."
Zero? I guess that's better than Kep. I'm accepting this weller than I thought... Well, if I didn't surviving wooould be tough.
He nodded before proceeding lay down beside Sephra. She was warm, and even if it wasn't fluffy, she was very cozy. She seemed to be happy that I liked her or something, cause she laid her wing over me. Ah... I know I just woke up but a nap here I wouldn't mind.

It's been a few days since I got kidnapped and I can actually talk now! I do ask a lot of questions, which doesn't annoy Sephra but it does annoy Echo. Every day though, I feel like something's missing... but I just ignore the feeling. Dragons, as much as I hate to admit it, taste good. I plan to stop as soon as I learn how to fish.
Flying came naturally to me, even if landing didn't the first time. Echo, the dragon that kidnapped me and also the dragon from the Imperfect Harmony episode, was a good dad. Even though he insisted he wasn't a dad and more of a 'guidance' figure. Yeah, no.
Fun fact, we can eat our own amber. I mean, how else are we supposed to get the dragon out of its amber casing? Our saliva specifically liquifies amber makes it easier, or we just crunch down on it.
A cool perk of being albino, apparently, my amber regularly stays in a liquid/jelly state unless I focus on it being solid, then it would turn solid, it was really cool, in my opinion.
I was lounigng around in the nest. Echo had gone hunting and Sephra had leapt down once he came back. They were having a long conversation, he couldn't be bothered to check what they were talking about. He was hungry, slightly thirsty and bored.
Being a Deathsong hatchling not old enough to hunt is BORING.
Then Sephra flew up, carrying something in her tail. Food? ... Why is my first thought food of all things? But then I noticed something—it was still moving, so it couldn't be food. Another hatchling? I mean, I heard Sephra had taken in other hatchlings, I wonder...
Sephra dropped the dragon down in front of me. He smelled kind of like Sephra, but nicer, he kind of smelt as if the feeling of a sibling got made it a smell. Then I looked at him closer, he was tilting his head at me... OH, is that Garff? Wait... IS GARFF MY BROTHER?!
He hopped over towards me with a smile, quieter than shown in the show.
"Hey..."
"Hi..!"
I have a feeling we're going to get along just great.
