Chapter 14 - Disengage-Right Now!!!

| Monday ~ Evening...

Today, Eri decided she would stock up on more foods, and_ and other interesting stuff that she knows of because of her greatly-recent findings~

Tranquilly through-out the store, Eri noted to herself, ''Eri has found it, she did. Shrimp and egg ramen----seized.''

''Is that a roasting curry in a can, Eri had seen in her past anime shows? Uhheeeh -Let us hope it is.''

''Ohhw- How could she almost let it slip? Can't forget these staple foods... -staple foods shown all over tv. *3 staples swiftly grabbed without hesitation.*''

While cheerily scoping aisle signs, she muttered, ''Now about complete with her shopping, what else did Eri want? ~Hmrrrmmmmmm~ Hold itt. -Was there always a aisle of kid's toys, in this store?''

((Basking while walking))

Enthralled, she thought, 'All of these toys, Eri wonders what kind of kid's they are forrr~ ((Bump))''

Familiar blue-haired female with dark pointed glasses groaned, ''Urrrnh! Arrghh!! Pardon me. Pay better attention your local surroundings, could you.

(. . . . . .) -No -No! it's... -Why?! -Of all everyday possible encounters_ did it have to be--you?!''

Acutely, Eri asked, ''We have met_before, haven't we? Where has she seen you?''

The girl nervously gulped and twitched...

Fairly sharply, Eri remarked, ''Wheeere was -Ah-ha. Eri recalls! -Ahh... What did she recall...? Hmrm. . .Oh-ho-ohh! Right. With a paperclip in your hair, there's no one else it could be.''

As Eri ripped of her glasses, she gaspingly asked, ''It was you_ class rep???''

Quietly screaming and mortified, Yori exclaimed, '''Hey! My disguise, let me have it back -now!'''

| Later ~ Outside, on the way to Eri's house...

Inquisitively, Eri asked, ''You are... are a classified fan of children's action hero cartoons?''

With her disguise back on, Yori edgily replied, ''-Keep your voice down, please! And... I am one, yes..... ''

Prudently, Eri asked, ''But why~?? Why keep it private, your likeness for those cartoons?''

Stammering profoundly, Yori vexedly relayed, ''...Don't you ever understand anything, without needing someone to point it out? -They're 'children's hero cartoons,' It's in the title.''

Vacantly, Eri mumbled, ''Henh. You're right, Eri realizes. ((Tiny laugh))''

Yori uptightly clarified, ''I'm 16, my childhood terminated 4 years ago. I outgrew 'those cartoons,' long ago... That is why I must watch them, away from the eyes of others.''

[Author's~Thoughts];

Absently, Eri replied, ''Aahhhhhh___ ''

Cheerlessly, Yori asked, ''Mrmm... Are you appeased now??? -Happy?! ...Listen to me, Eri Mana. Keep all you witnessed today, a secret for your own good, or else-''

Meddlingly, Eri asked ''Uhhh... ((Vacant head nod)) Hmrrrrrr, what would you do if -if your secret were revealed by Eri?''

Disoriented by the question, Yori remarked, ''As it happens, I don't presently know myself..... Nevertheless, justice is on my side, and it would pay you back_ someday.''

Simply, Eri asked, ''Would it.....?''

[Author's~Notice];

Peppily, Eri declared, ''We made it. This is Eri's home.''

As she dropped her package in shock, Yori asked, ''T-This--This can't be right..... Eri. Are you absolutely sure...that this is truthfully your house???''

Mystified, Eri refuted, ''Huh? Ahh, Yep. Eri has lived here, ever since less than a couple months ago. That's when it was custom-built.''

| Some time later...

((Opens door))

Serenely, Eri said, ''Bye-bye now. Thanks for the help_ help with Eri's groceries. -And some extra info.''

Bitterly, Yori rebutted, ''It was.....no problem. It is one's duty to assist one-another. _Goodbye.''

Cheerfully waving goodbye, Eri loudly said, ''And_ _And enjoy your Forcing-Rangers set.''

Irked, Yori corrected, ''You fool. You mispronounced it's name! It's a 'ForceRangers Model Kit!'

((Walks off in anger...))

| Tune in next whatever for more action!!!

  1. Yeah~ 😏 Keep telling yourself that...
  2. For reference to all my readers: Note that Eri's ''house'' is roughly 20 minutes from the store, and her school is a bit further. ~Though, not much.
