| Afternoon ~ Kyoto streets...
Merrily, Eri thought, 'Today, class turned out to be fun, so - so fun. Maybe when, Eri returns home, she'll review her journal's notes once again.
Because, it's good to always, always keep things crystal clear. After all, that's what mom had always informed Eri to worry about.''
| With no warning, Eri was given a random surprise. She spotted two familiar people in front of her home, just waiting for her.
The wealthily-dressed tall man gladly yapped, ''My dear daughter! Is that you, I glimpse with these eyes?''
Her arms limp from shock, Eri absently asked, ''N-No wayyy... Can it be? . . .Daddy? Daddy, -Are you really here?''
| With his surprise, Eri hastily ran to and gave her daddy a big tender hug.
With a grin, he sincerely stated, ''It seems to me, like you have not lost your spacey ways. I still blame that trait on your mother's genes. *Chortles*''
Her mom, frigidly remarked, ''Why insult me when, I'm standing downright beside you?''
Her mind blown, Eri asked, ''Mom! *Gasps* It's good to see you!''
Tellingly, her dad said, ''We should not disturb the neighborhood. Let us take our family reunion inside, okay?''
| Meet Eri's family, Siegfried and Clarissa de Mana. For some strange reasons, Eri's dad likes to be called 'Mr. Fried. And mom, it's a sturdy fact that mom keeps more notes than her own daughter.
Queryingly, Clarissa asked, ''My daughter... How is, the upkeep of your residence? Are you able to find anything you wish, at a moment's desire? Hmm? *Upward glance*''
Serenely, Eri said, ''Here, Welcome to the living room. Sit - sit, wherever you wish to. Before we talk, Eri must put all her school things away.''
Mr. Fried contently replied, ''Fact acknowledged. Go ahead. Your mother and I shall make ourselves at home.''
((Runs off))
Now sat on the sofa, Mr. Fried elatedly said, ''Hmr... Just as I hoped, this custom-ordered home is greatly comfortable. How charming is it, that she has abundant merchandise set up all over.''
While scoping things out, Clarissa wisely remarked, ''Even though far away she still, has your present obsession for otaku culture.''
Proudly, Mr. Fried replied, ''I believe that most things should be celebrated with utmost respect and sincerity. You know that fac----Hrrrm? -(Big gasps)''
Clarissa asked, ''Something up?''
Over-excited, he asserted, ''Since when did she purchase this 'Lone Piece', limited-edition Sanji figure. Look at that faultless battle posing!''
Simply, Clarissa said, ''Calm down, dearest.''
He manically said, ''She got herself a Hatsu with Lucy combo action figure from 'Fairy Duel'?!? . . .And those boxed dvd's down there-''
Without alert, Eri said, ''Okayyy, Eri is back.''
In her personal space, he eagerly stated, ''My daughter... We need to have a long thorough chat, about this.''
Cluelessly, Eri asked, ''About what?''
| Hours later...
Calmly, Clarissa said, ''Eri. It's good that, you've adjusted to school life so neatly. *Flicks fidget toy*''
Eri merrily said, ''Thank you. On another note, Eri noticed that you still use, that fidget spinner when chatting with others.''
Clarissa replied, ''This, you mean? It, it always centers my mind when I discourse with another.''
As he stood up, Mr. Fried said, ''O-kay. I think we have addressed enough matters for today. Clarissa? Do you agree?''
Puzzled, Eri asked, ''Eh, -ehh? Is it time, time for you to go?''
Clarissa informed, ''We're coming back tomorrow but, tonight-''
''We made plans to stay at a Kyoto hotel, for the night.'' He avidly clarified.
| Later, outside the door...
Mr. Fried exclaimed, ''I wish you goodnight, my dear daughter.''
Simply, Clarissa said, ''Goodnight, our Eri.''
| The end~
