Chapter 23 - Celestial Mana Control Technique

Within Transcendence, Lucian opened his eyes.

Despite the surge of power coursing through his Mana Veins. There was a hint of disappointment in his blue eyes

He stood up and stretched his limbs for a few seconds.

As soon as Lucian finished stretching, the System announced:

[Congratulations Host for becoming a Mana Condensation Mage. You are one step closer to becoming a Transcendent Chef. I hope you use your newly gained Mana in your next culinary dishes.]

Suddenly, rows of text appeared in his mind.

[What!? Celestial Mana Control Technique… Since when did Mages become Cultivators?]

Lucian was taken aback and mildly speechless.

Of course, since one-third of his Soul belonged to Chef Lucian, he knew of Cultivators.

They were similar to Mages but had distinct differences.

Rather than absorbing Mana from the air, Cultivators absorbed Qi from Heaven and Earth to become physically and spiritually stronger.

Unlike Mages, who could automatically absorb Mana with their Mana Veins, Cultivators required a Cultivation Technique to help with the process.

Cultivation Techniques were divided into many ranks. The higher the rank of the Cultivation Technique, the faster the Cultivator could absorb Qi.

Also, Cultivation Techniques could only help a Cultivator reach a certain stage in Cultivation before they were either stuck there forever or until they found a stronger Cultivation Technique.

… However, Cultivators, Qi, and Cultivation Techniques were mere fiction. At the very least, Dao Immortal Lucian and Ancestral God Lucian had never heard of those terms before.

Suddenly, detailed information about the Celestial Mana Control Technique flooded his Soul. It was similar to when he had received Wang Chen's memories.

Memory transfer was a common Skill that anyone at the Mana Soul Realm or above could utilize.

Lucian did not panic, understanding that it was the System's doing.

As he processed the information, he could not help but take a deep breath to calm his rapidly beating heart.

'It seems there is more to the Omniverse than I had expected.'

He paused, and after his heartbeat returned to normal, he continued:

'Now that I no longer have any responsibilities on my shoulders, I can truly experience life. Maybe dying… or whatever happened to the three Lucians was a blessing in disguise.'

At this moment, the System explained:

[Host, please do note that where there is smoke, there is fire. Cultivators are not limited to only the world of fiction. They are real and exist in other Universes. Only in Celeste Universe, there are no Cultivators. As for why this is the case, I do not possess the information to explain.]

As Lucian absorbed the new information, he nodded, feeling a mixture of excitement and curiosity.

Celestial Mana Control Technique

Description:

The Celestial Mana Control Technique is a high-level Cultivation Technique that allows Mages to sense Celestial Mana found in stars, absorb it for Cultivation, and teaches how to control Celestial Mana to an unparalleled degree.

Enhanced Celestial Mana Absorption:

Significantly increases the rate at which Celestial Mana is absorbed.

Increased Celestial Mana Control:

Teaches the best way to control Celestial Mana.

Physical and Spiritual Strengthening:

Gradually strengthens the body and Soul.

—------------

Lucian was surprised by the technique. To his knowledge, the energy contained within stars was not absorbable. Many Mages had tried, including himself, but all had failed.

Celestial Energy was too powerful and dense for a Mage, even for an Ancestral God to contain within their body.

After all, even the smallest star was gigantic.

Yet, according to the Celestial Mana Control Technique, it was possible to absorb Celestial Energy within stars.

—------------

From the information regarding the Celestial Mana Control Technique, it emphasized to begin Cultivating the technique as early as possible.

That way his body and Soul would contain pure Celestial Energy.

'No wonder I received this technique after advancing to Mana Condensation Realm. Otherwise, my body and Soul would have been polluted with other Energies.'

After a Mage condenses Mana, they would then begin to awaken an Element, and if they were lucky, they could awaken multiple Elements.

Just when Lucian was about to sit cross-legged on the floor and start Cultivating, he heard the gentle chime of the bells.

Turning in the direction of the entrance, Lucian saw a fully black-robed person entering. The person's face was hidden by a black mask, and a bamboo hat covered their head.

Even the person's eyes could not be seen, but Lucian knew it was a woman. The smell that wafted off her body and the instincts of an Incubus told him that she was a woman.

And a very beautiful woman at that!

But what intrigued him the most was the familiar scent of an Orc wafting off her body. From her body, he smelled two scents. One was her natural fragrance and the second scent was from the Orc Garrett, who had left a few hours ago.

'Are they related?'

—------------

Lily's curiosity had gotten the better of her. She had only hesitated briefly before deciding to enter the restaurant.

The interior was even more beautiful than what she saw from outside. The smell of jasmine soothed her body and mind. The lighting was just perfect, not too bright or too dark.

Overall, the restaurant was too pretty to be situated in Thunderfall City.

Just what was the owner thinking? Was he stupid?

Such a beautiful restaurant would have earned so much money if it had been located in the Valora Capital City of the Lidia Empire.

Lily moved with rhythmic, graceful steps, her black robe fluttering behind her. After arriving at a table directly in front of the kitchen window, she sat down and looked at the owner.

Lucian sensed her gaze from behind the black mask but he remained indifferent.

From her aura, she was a Mana Vein Tempering Mage, which was surprising, but he did not take it heart.

Now that he was a Mana Condensation Mage, his Shape-Shifting Skill worked on Mana Vein Tempering Mages.
