Chapter 107 - Chapter 106 - House Cup.

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Hogwarts.

...

...

The common room was more crowded than ever as everyone talked and celebrated the school year. It was June, and finally, the year had ended. While the seventh-year graduates wouldn't return to the school, the first- to sixth-year students would have two months before returning to the castle to start their next year of studies.

"Lucius, we'll finally follow our careers alongside our parents!" A student said excitedly, finally having the chance to serve the Dark Lord if they wished.

"Yes..." Lucius commented, knowing that he would soon begin training with his father, learning more about leading House Malfoy and preparing for his marriage. Meanwhile, his supposed fiancée was staring into the distance, listening to her sister Andromeda talk, while Bellatrix sat on the other side with a certain amount of ill humor.

"Did you hear the rumors?" Someone spoke up, also noticing Bellatrix.

"About Bellatrix? Yes... that Snape threw her into the Black Lake? Can you believe it?" Another one laughed.

"That guy's getting bolder."

"It doesn't matter now..." Another said, believing it would be pointless to discuss it again.

"But if we lose the House Cup... it'll be his fault... he lost a lot of points with Professor McGonagall." Someone snorted from among the seventh years.

"And what are you going to do about it?" Another mocked.

"..." He didn't respond, which was obvious.

Lucinda was with the other fifth-year students, saving a spot next to her while waiting for Snape to arrive, as Clarissa raised an eyebrow. The last time the Greengrass girl had seen Snape, he was still brewing potions, and she had asked him to accompany her to the common room, but Snape refused, saying he wanted to finish his potions, and she had simply sighed and left the place.

Pandora was at her table, talking with some people while they immediately asked questions about her magical training. She replied that Snape gave her a few tips, which was why she had become so good, but that didn't seem to convince her classmates, who bombarded her with more questions.

At the Gryffindor table, the Marauders were celebrating with the group, while James shot confident looks. "The House Cup will be Gryffindor's this year!!" he declared.

"I hope so... James Potter, after all, you and your friends lost us a lot of points with your pranks." A seventh-year student looked at them with disdain.

"What did you say?! That's not true!!" James tried to argue.

"Are you sure? Professor Slughorn took 50 points from you the last time for trying to ruin his party. The same could be said of Black—besides being sent off, we lost another 30 points for him launching one of the Bludgers into the stands." He mocked. None of the seventh-year students liked seeing their house lose because of the actions of younger students.

"But we won the game, I won!" James insisted.

"One point for another... we're still in the negative." A girl said mockingly.

"Tsk." James didn't say anything else, realizing it wouldn't lead anywhere. He returned to his friends, with Lupin sighing and Pettigrew looking cautious. Black was even worse, with a dark expression. He certainly hadn't liked being sent off the game after being hit by Snape, and his mood had worsened when he heard scouts were pursuing Snape as an unexpected talent.

Sirius wanted to become a professional Quidditch player. Now that he was expelled from his family, he had to try something outside of their support, although at least he could count on the Potters, who had taken him in.

His gaze fell on his younger brother... who would be going into his fourth year. He sat at the Slytherin table, calmly surrounded by other young aristocrats from great families. Not only was he an example for their family, who had replaced Sirius when they noticed the differences in their personalities, but Regulus Black was also seen as someone who could be a standout in magical society, which gave Sirius a twinge of envy.

"This year wasn't very good..." Pettigrew seemed to read the room and murmured.

"That's true, ever since he changed, that Snape manages to get away with anything, that damn..." James muttered with hatred, his gaze falling to the side of the table as his heart tightened. Lily seemed to have her eyes fixed on the entrance of the hall, waiting for someone. She had completely changed the way she looked at Snape, the way she spoke about him. James feared that Lily truly loved the guy who had insulted her directly over a year ago.

"How can this be happening, why do you prefer that guy, Lily...!" James murmured softly, clenching his fists.

Lily didn't care to listen to her friends talking as she wondered where Snape was. He always disappeared, and none of the girls who knew where he might be had spoken up.

Her eyes widened when Snape finally entered the hall, walking silently. Some noticed, but most, already used to this, continued their conversations with each other. Snape walked further into the hall until he found an empty spot at the table for himself.

He might have already gotten the school used to his solitary entrances during moments when he could have stood out, but he still drew attention. Some whispered about his actions, the most recent being how an adult author had attacked him, how he knocked down a Quidditch player by throwing a Bludger with his hand, and now the rumors of him being the highest-scoring student in the school.

On that last note, the professors at their table kept a close eye on Snape, impressed with his performance not only in their own subjects but in all others as well. They talked about his achievements in specializations, though some expressed concern about a student pursuing five specializations at once to Professor Slughorn, head of Slytherin.

"Snape is clearly very intelligent, so it's inevitable that he might surprise you," the Headmaster commented in a calm tone.

"I spoke with Snape about it, and he said he feels confident in handling so many specializations," Professor Slughorn replied.

"I've heard he spent a great deal of the year in the library, including the restricted section. Albus, I know you have an agreement with him, but this could cause problems, with parents complaining that a Hogwarts student has so many privileges..." Professor McGonagall spoke up this time, not out of any animosity toward Snape, but because this could genuinely start causing issues for Hogwarts, as students and parents might claim he earned high marks due to those privileges, having access to texts that no one else could.

"I'll look into it next year, Minerva. Don't worry about that..." the Headmaster commented, his gaze falling on Snape, who was sitting among his fellow fifth-year students at the Slytherin table.

Snape found himself bombarded with questions from Clarisse and Lucinda, while he only sighed, the other fifth-year students staring at him. He answered the girls with monosyllables.

After a while, the Headmaster finally made his move, standing up and tapping his spoon against his glass, drawing the attention of the entire Great Hall as the sound spread through the room.

"Well..." Headmaster Dumbledore began as the hall fell silent. "Now we come to the most anticipated moment of all!" he said, and everyone focused on him, even those who claimed not to care about the result.

"Another year has passed... and now it's time for the House Cup to be awarded. And the standings this year begin with..." He paused, leaving everyone waiting for the result.

"Slytherin... with 210 points..." he announced, leaving the Slytherin table in a state of slight depression, as many knew Snape was a reason for such a score, but he didn't care about the looks. Professor Slughorn was certainly not pleased with this outcome.

"In third place, we have... Gryffindor... with 256 points." He spoke, his voice sounding somewhat disappointed. Professor McGonagall didn't know where to hide her face in shame. Never had such a low score been made at Hogwarts, even though they had won the Quidditch Cup. Without that, they would have ranked even lower than Slytherin.

"In fourth place... we have Hufflepuff!! With 432 points!" he announced, and the hall clapped more enthusiastically than for the previous two houses.

Ravenclaw was already celebrating, being the only house left. "In first place and our champion, with 489 points, we have Ravenclaw!!" he declared, and the next moment, all the banners and decorations in the hall transformed into the image of an eagle on a blue background.

Everyone burst into applause immediately as the Ravenclaw table erupted in celebration. Everything was decorated for them, and the Headmaster sat back down while Snape merely shrugged and continued eating like everyone else. It had nothing to do with him; he didn't even want to be there, having only come to observe how this competition worked. He had earned many points for his house, but some misunderstandings with the teachers and fights with other students had caused Slytherin to lose points, even though he was rarely at the scene of the crime.

Snape ate calmly until a letter suddenly dropped into his lap, which he read discreetly, without anyone noticing.

'I need you to come to my room... tonight at 12:00... we need to talk about something important.' That was the message. Snape raised an eyebrow at the sender but didn't look up as he burned the letter. He trusted this person, as they had already proven themselves to him, so he would listen to what they had to say.

In the end, he disappeared shortly after, heading back to prepare a few things. Without anyone bothering him, he stayed there until the appointed time. When the time came, he left and returned to the Slytherin dormitory, making his way to the girls' wing, without drawing any attention.

He then knocked on the door indicated by the note, but no one answered. He noticed that it was slightly open. As he pushed it open, he saw someone approaching him in the dark. It wasn't who he had expected, after all, the letter had been addressed to Narcissa.

The feminine scent hit him as the figure became visible—it was Andromeda, wearing a much more mischievous smile than usual.

"I wasn't sure if you'd come if I said it was me... I hope you won't leave now..." she said, trying to seduce him as her hands moved to his shoulder and chest. Snape raised an eyebrow at her, noticing that Andromeda was wearing only red lingerie. She had a beautiful, youthful body, with the fullest breasts of the three sisters and a slender frame. Her brown, curly hair and dark eyes completed the picture.

"Aren't you supposed to be underage?" Snape asked, curious.

"Not anymore... my sisters and I turned 18 some time ago... and since we're leaving soon... I want you to take my virginity," she said, while Snape wondered if Bellatrix was really the boldest of the Black sisters.

Her hands moved down to touch Snape's crotch, making the woman in front of him look surprised. "So this is what men have... I'm new to this, and I believe you are too. How about we learn to explore our bodies better?" she asked, as Snape debated whether he should sleep with this woman. She started rubbing him through his robes, attempting to seduce him as she had learned from her older relatives. Snape kept a calm expression; he certainly wouldn't have done this if the girl had been underage, but now that she was 18, things could be different.

Snape simply moved his hand as the door closed and he lit several candles in the room with a snap of his fingers, surprising Andromeda a little as she turned her gaze back to him.

"Alright then, I'll teach you," Snape said. He might have been a guardian, but he was also a man, and it had been a long time since he had done anything like this. After all, as a guardian, he wasn't allowed to have a family, but casual sex wasn't forbidden.

He picked Andromeda up and placed her on the bed, knowing it would be a long night. He cast a soundproofing charm as they began their activities.
