After finishing his call, the man crouched to scratch the chin of the approaching cat, then looked at the three puppies with some surprise.
Upon seeing a stranger, the puppies didn't rush up immediately. They moved forward, then quickly retreated two steps back. The biggest one even barked "woof woof" twice in a lordly manner, but because it was still too small and unsteady, it stumbled and rolled on the ground.
"Hey, whose little dogs are these running over here?" the man grabbed a strand of grass, intending to tease the puppies, but the cat next to him intervened.
Dusting off his pants, the man pocketed his phone and walked toward the three puppies.
