After arriving in the county town, he passed by a bicycle shop and, on a whim, the idea to buy a bicycle popped into his head. It had been ages since he last rode a bicycle, he usually traveled in four wheels.
The owner of the bicycle shop spent a long time pitching a new mountain bike that was supposedly the latest design, but instead of buying that, Fang Shaokang settled for a second-hand one in the end.
Even though it was a second-hand bike, it was still a mountain bike. The shop owner was initially displeased because Fang Shaokang didn't purchase a new bike, but a sale was still a sale, and he gave the bike another check.
Looking at Heitan squatting not far away and then at the bike being inspected, Fang Shaokang said to the owner, "Boss, please add a front basket for me."
