After Feng Jiang left, Ji Chao continued to sit in meditation at the same place, regulating his breath to heal his injuries.
"Who's there?"
The martial artist's senses were sharp; Ji Chao suddenly heard faint footsteps behind him. His heart chilled, and he immediately stood up and turned to look.
In the distance, under the veil of night, a white figure slowly emerged. As the white color gradually advanced, entering Ji Chao's field of view, it was a young man around twenty years old, wearing a white casual shirt.
A faint smile played upon the young man's face, yet within that smile lurked a hint of murderous intent.
Ji Chao furrowed his brows, feeling as though he had seen this young man somewhere before.
"Is it you?"
Ji Chao suddenly remembered. Not long ago when he and Valley Chief Feng had passed by a square, this young man had been treating some patients from the Secular World alongside many doctors.
