Although Wen Zhi wasn't quite sure why the waiter was treating her with an unfriendly attitude, she still responded.
"No, that's it."
The waiter collected the menu and before leaving, gave Wen Zhi a particularly disdainful glance.
This made Wen Zhi even more puzzled.
She didn't know this waiter; why was it as if they had some grievance against each other?
After relaying the order to the kitchen, the waiter started chatting with a coworker.
"Did you see the woman over there? She's obviously being kept by that man. She's trying to act well-mannered, but who is she fooling? Isn't it all just to please men?"
"Her looks are very mediocre too. I really don't know what that man sees in her. Maybe I could have a shot."
Towards the end, the waiter was revealing her own thoughts.
