When the man bit her collarbone, Wen Zhi merely inhaled sharply, without even altering the curve of her lips.
"Mr. He, long time no see."
Under the dim light, her fair skin seemed to glow, and the black stiletto with a red sole lay askew at the edge of the bed, creating an irresistibly seductive scene.
Wen Zhi turned over to lie on her side, her well-proportioned comic-book legs on display. Since she had won the international ballet dancer of the year award and received the title of Golden Dance Shoes a year ago, the media had been competing to report on her, claiming her legs were a gift from heaven.
They were perfect works of art.
But the man in the suit and leather shoes didn't even deign to look at her straight on, merely fidgeting with the lighter in his hand, his fine features obscured in the darkness, emotion unreadable.
"When did you return to the country?" He Hanjin asked calmly.
Wen Zhi instantly became displeased, "Mr. He, aren't you going to explain what just happened first?"
Half an hour earlier, she had been sitting in the conference room on the fifth floor of the hotel with her agent, discussing the contract terms with the company she had just signed with. The company had just mentioned the arrival of a new chairman, and the next second, He Hanjin entered the room surrounded by several people.
After they made eye contact, He Hanjin pulled her out of the private room in full view of everyone, leaving the rest whispering among themselves on their seats.
Regaining her composure, Wen Zhi stared at the delicate profile of the man, surprised to find that after five years, he had shed his youthful air and developed a noble aura that radiated from his cold, fair skin and handsome features.
However.
Wen Zhi knew exactly what kind of person he was.
"Mr. He, I didn't expect to see you doing well after not seeing you for five years," she sneered with a curve of her lips, her words dripping with irony, "After being the He Family's dog for so many years, you finally got a stake in an entertainment company at the age of twenty-five. Not easy."
To her surprise, He Hanjin seemed almost unaffected by her scorn, his demeanor unusually calm, "Wen Zhi, how should you address me?"
Wen Zhi stared at him intently, her tone icy, "Oh? You still remember our relationship?"
She rose from the bed and sauntered over to He Hanjin, then straddled his legs; she pulled his tie closer and looked down at him from above.
"But do you still remember what you did to me five years ago, on that night?"
He Hanjin's Adam's apple bobbed as he caught her restless hand, yet his breathing remained steady, "Wen Zhi, I told you five years ago, that was an accident."
Wen Zhi violently shook off his hand, her face etched with biting sarcasm, she scoffed, "So in big brother He's eyes, it was just your 'accident'?"
After saying that, she glared at He Hanjin, thinking back to that rainy night five years ago when, no matter how much she cried or begged, he persisted time and again...
She had just come of age at the time; how could he!
Grinding her teeth, she leaned in close to He Hanjin.
Their breaths mingled.
Wen Zhi smirked, cradled He Hanjin's face, and whispered softly, "How about we have another 'accident' tonight?"
No sooner had the words left her mouth than she leaned in to kiss He Hanjin's lips.
But before their lips met, the man turned his head slightly, and with a well-defined hand, he seized her chin.
He Hanjin's eyes darkened, "Wen Zhi, stop it."
"Do you think I'm playing around?"
Wen Zhi found it amusing, a warm breath wafting onto his face, "But I'm clearly helping you."
No sooner had she finished speaking than the heat within He Hanjin became uncontrollable.
"Did you do something?"
He Hanjin spoke with displeasure, trying to distance himself from Wen Zhi, but as soon as he moved, Wen Zhi pressed down on his hands, peppering his collarbone and Adam's apple with dense, tender, and enticing kisses.
"How could I? I just used a little Aphrodisiac Incense."
She tilted her head to look at him, her eyes glinting with a triumphant, fox-like smile, "Do you like it?"
He Hanjin's gaze only deepened as he forcefully lifted her and then threw her onto the bed behind him with a thud.
She wanted to make a few sarcastic remarks, but the man's lips sealed hers, followed by wave after wave of intense movements. The red dress on her body was already wrinkled beyond recognition and was then casually torn off and thrown onto the floor by the man.
Although Wen Zhi was the one who initiated the seduction, in the end, it was she who couldn't take it, and could only let out broken, soft pleas, "Please... slower..."
Even though the pace stayed the same, Wen Zhi oddly felt the hand gripping her slender waist loosen slightly, and it seemed less painful.
After they finished, Wen Zhi didn't even have the strength to get up; she could only let He Hanjin carry her into the bathroom.
He held her with one arm while effortlessly testing the water temperature and running the bath with the other hand.
Only after the water was drawn did Wen Zhi get placed into the bathtub. Under the dim light, the harsh red marks from his excessive force were still glaringly visible. Wen Zhi didn't attempt to cover them and instead stared straight at He Hanjin, "Is this, perhaps, an accident as well?"
But before He Hanjin could speak up, a cell phone ringtone sounded from outside, which he clearly had no intention of answering.
After it was hung up the first time, the ringtone persisted, ringing a second time relentlessly.
"Aren't you going to answer it?" Wen Zhi asked, her eyes smiling, her little face slightly reddened from the heat, becoming even more enchantingly charming.
Without a word, He Hanjin walked out of the bathroom.
Inside the bathtub, Wen Zhi pondered thoughtfully; in fact, she knew who was calling.
He Hanjin's haunting-crush, the Bai Family's eldest daughter, Bai Yuewan, had frequently appeared by He Hanjin's side at various events over the past five years. The media had almost worn out the news of the two of them, never even waiting to report on their engagement.
What He Hanjin felt for his haunting-crush was something she couldn't pin down.
However, when she saw the reports from abroad, the images of the two of them standing together, smiling, it was truly an eyesore.
She narrowed her eyes unhappily, the thought crossing her mind then was just one: How dare he?
Even if there was no affection between them, He Hanjin had completely ruined her, inside and out, five years ago. What right did he have to accept someone else as if nothing had happened?
It was unthinkable.
She got up, grabbed a towel and wrapped herself in it, then strolled out of the bathroom leisurely.
Despite the distance, Wen Zhi still heard the woman's voice on the phone, "Who is that woman in your room?"
Turning his head, He Hanjin met Wen Zhi's enigmatic smile, his own expression indiscernible.
Wen Zhi slowly donned the dress she had prepared, one piece at a time in front of him; she then took out a lipstick, touched up in front of the mirror, and only after that did she turn to He Hanjin.
"The gift I gave you, do you like it?"
