Chapter 3 - three

Third person POV.

Bellamy stood by the teacher's desk, waiting for her to notice him. He looked around the classroom; not many people had arrived yet, just a few. Jasper sat at his desk with a book in hand, engrossed in reading. Bellamy turned back to the teacher when the bell rang, and she asked who he was.

"I'm the new transfer student; my name is Bellamy Swan," he said as he handed her his slip. He made his way to the only open seat next to the vampire boy.

"Hello Jasper, nice weather today," Bellamy said with a smile as he placed his bag down, causing some of the others in the room to gasp.

"Indeed it is, Bell. How are your father and sister this morning?" Jasper asked.

"Well, my father is avoiding me right now. I found out Bella and I have two different mothers, and that he knows who my mother is but won't say. I asked Bella, and she told me my mom seduced Dad and left me on Dad's porch after I was born." Bellamy sighed. "So that's how my morning has been so far, but it's better now that I get to see you."

Jasper smiled, put his book down, and looked up at Bellamy. "So what are you doing today?" he asked.

"I don't have any plans, besides trying to corner my father," Bellamy replied as he talked with Jasper quietly for the whole hour before the bell rang, and they were forced to go their separate ways.

Bellamy needed the truth, and he knew just how to get it, though it could be messy. He looked for his next class; it was photography. Once there, he sat at an empty desk after having the teacher sign his slip. He went through the pictures he had taken; he hid the chip with Emmett attacking the bear in his room and opened a new card to take more pictures before school. Sighing once again, he picked a few of his favorites before the bell rang. He decided to show one in black and white of a few birds sitting on a wire high in the sky. He also took some of the rain, pointing the camera up at the dark cloudy sky that poured down its fresh tears.

As Bellamy navigated his way through the intricacies of his new school and relationships, he found a confidant in Jasper, who offered both camaraderie and an ear to listen. Their interactions provided a sense of comfort amidst the uncertainties that surrounded him. The quest for truth propelled Bellamy forward, nudging him to confront his father and unravel the mysteries shrouding his family history. Armed with determination and a camera, he sought answers not only in his personal life but also through the lens of his photography. In the classroom, Bellamy's artistic expression transcended mere snapshots, capturing moments of beauty and emotion that mirrored the complexities of his own journey. Each click of the shutter symbolized not just a visual masterpiece but a fragment of his evolving narrative, a story waiting to be told.

Photography became more than a hobby; it evolved into a transformative journey—an odyssey of self-discovery that unfolded frame by frame, revealing the intricate layers of his being with every snapshot taken.
