Ethan sat on his bed, thinking about a lot of things. He looked in the mirror and saw a scary version of himself.
"Why are you making me feel this way? Why can't I just be normal?" Ethan spoke quietly to his reflection, feeling frustrated and desperate.
The door creaked open, and Lia came into the room. Ethan didn't pay much attention to her because he was dealing with his own inner struggles.
"Ethan, you have a visitor," Lia said softly, sounding worried. "Your girlfriend is downstairs waiting for you."
Ethan didn't respond. He didn't show that he heard her. As Lia tried to comfort him, he suddenly stood up and grabbed her neck, pushing her against the wall.
"Ethan, what are you doing?" Lia gasped, looking scared and shocked, finding it hard to talk as he held her tightly.
In the middle of chaos, Ethan let go of Lia suddenly. He looked scared and confused about what he did. "I... I'm sorry," he said nervously. "What did you say?"
Lia came closer to him carefully, looking worried and caring. She sat down next to him, trying to understand his troubled face. "Are you okay?" she asked softly, showing real concern. "Maybe you should go to the hospital. Something might be wrong."
Ethan briefly looked at Lia before turning away, feeling a tense silence between them. He struggled with his inner turmoil, clenching his fists and thinking about the danger of his evil side coming back.
"I can help you if you want. I can ask her to go," Lia offered, trying to comfort him amidst his inner struggle.
Ethan stayed quiet, lost in his own battle, while Lia stood up, looking at him with unwavering support and empathy.
"If you ever need help, just ask me, and I'll be happy to help you," Lia said, her voice full of care. "Seeing you like this, brother, it makes me feel sorry for you. If you ever need anything, don't be afraid to ask."
After Lia said these words and left, Ethan stayed still, looking at the door. Slowly, he got up and went to the window, looking outside into the dimly lit night. He felt a presence around him, familiar yet unwelcome. Even though he knew who it was, he chose to stay silent.
"Is this how you welcome your master?" Lucifer's voice broke the silence, coming from the bed where he sat, watching Ethan.
"What do you want by destroying everything?" Ethan's voice shook with a mix of frustration and desperation. "Look at me, look at the suffering I've endured just because I'm your cursed Antichrist. What more do you want me to go through? Can't you let me go back to where I belong?"
Lucifer appeared before him, approaching calmly. He turned Ethan to face him, looking at him intensely.
"You should be thankful that I picked you," Lucifer said coldly. "Without me, you would have died long ago. I saved you, I raised you, but they only talk about some divine intervention. You are meant for darkness, Ethan, and that's the truth."
Before Ethan could say anything, the door creaked open, revealing Lora.
"Hey," she greeted softly, but Ethan reacted quickly. He turned to her, raising his hand to stop her.
"Why are you here? What do you want?" His voice was sharp.
Lora stood in the doorway, feeling the heaviness of the situation in her heart. She just wanted to fix things, to say sorry for the confusion, but Ethan's silence felt like a wall between them, cold and unyielding.
"Ethan," she started, her voice trembling a bit, "I know you're innocent. I know you couldn't have done that. Can we please talk about this?"
But Ethan stayed silent, looking into the distance. When he gestured towards the door, Lora felt a sharp pain in her chest.
"Are you... asking me to leave?" Her voice cracked, tears filling her eyes as she realized.
"I thought... I thought we were friends," she said softly. "I thought you cared about me, too. But I guess I was wrong. I was silly to think you felt the same way about me as I do about you."
Just as Lora turned to leave, hurt by rejection, Ethan's words pierced the air.
"Don't come back here ever again," he said harshly.
Lora stood still, her heart shattered. Without saying a word, she turned and ran, tears blurring her vision as she stumbled out the door.
Ethan watched her leave, feeling regretful. He closed the door and sat heavily on his bed, letting out a deep sigh. How did things get so bad?
Looking at the window, he saw Lucifer still there, witnessing the chaos in his room silently. But even seeing his loyal companion didn't ease the guilt he felt.
Ethan got up, grabbed the doorknob, and went downstairs with slow steps. At the bottom, he saw his family gathered around Lora, talking with concern and curiosity. They looked at him, wanting to talk, but he avoided their eyes, lost in his thoughts.
Stepping outside into the fading evening light, Ethan looked up at the darkening sky, surprised at how much time had passed in the house without him noticing.
As he walked without a clear destination, he felt another presence near him. He glanced back and saw a stranger walking closely behind him. Feeling uneasy, he stayed quiet and kept walking, but the stranger copied his every move with each turn.
Finally, he stopped and faced the stranger, who also paused. Feeling a mix of frustration and fear, he asked, "Who are you? Why are you following me?"
The stranger stayed quiet, just looking at him. Suddenly, the stranger quickly came closer and stabbed him in the shoulder with a knife.
As Ethan stared at the stranger, he saw a white flame surrounding him. He was shocked. Wasn't lora the only god's child? How could there be another one? And with that he fell to the ground as he slowly closed his eyes.
