Chapter 11 - The Truth

Ethan stepped into a club, scanning the room as he tried to see if he could find his horsemen of sin. He ordered a drink, deciding to let loose without worrying about what others might say. People who knew him were confused as they watched him act surprisingly out of character for the first time in a place like this.

"Hey," a girl said behind him. He turned around and looked at her.

"Hey," he replied, smiling as she reached out her hand for a shake.

"My name is Kate. We've actually met before, though I'm not sure if you remember me. I'm the girl you helped when she was being bullied, and after that, you started getting bullied yourself."

Ethan smiled as he shook hands with her, wondering how he could know him when he had just entered the world as an antichrist.

"So, Ethan, right? If you don't mind me asking, how did you do it? Everyone has been talking about you since you stepped into the club. It's like a guy who was so dull suddenly became so popular," she said.

Ethan smiled as he turned to look at her, moving his lips closer to hers and spoke, "Why do you ask? Do you like my style?"

Kate moved away, feeling shy. She didn't know why, but she felt drawn closer to him.

"Ethan, I want to be like you. Can you teach me whatever it is you're doing?" she asked.

Ethan laughed, then walked onto the dance floor and started dancing. He gestured for Kate to come over to him, and she slowly approached, feeling as if she was about to commit a huge sin.

Ethan held her around the waist, spun her around, and smiled. He pulled her closer to him as they danced.

"If you want to be like me, then you just have to leave all that goodness behind. Your goodness is your weakness; you just need to stand up for yourself," Ethan said to Kate.

Kate turned to look at Ethan, feeling confused about what he had just said. Did he mean that if she became bad, she would no longer be bullied?

Ethan spun her around again, and as her back landed against him, he held her waist, moving his lips close to hers.

"Why do you think you are always bullied? That's because you are being kind, and they are taking advantage of that. If you want to be free, you need to get your enemies out of the way," he whispered to her.

After saying that, Kate turned around, but Ethan was nowhere to be seen. She looked around but couldn't spot him.

She walked over to the bar, sat down, and placed her head in her hands, trying to convince herself that everything was just a joke.

"Come on, Kate, be strong," she told herself.

She took a sip of her drink as she gazed back at the dance floor, but Ethan was nowhere to be seen; it was as if he had vanished into thin air.

Soon, she became drunk and stood up, deciding it was time to head back home. She thought it best to lay down since she had class the next day and didn't want to oversleep.

As she left the party, she looked around and noticed how quiet it was outside; it felt like no one lived in this area.

Feeling a bit dizzy and sleepy, she started walking. Before long, she realized that there were people walking behind her. She turned a corner, feeling scared that the figures might be following her.

With each step she took, the people behind her seemed to follow as well, making her feel increasingly uneasy and wondering why they were trailing her.

She stopped abruptly, turned around, and saw five men standing behind her.

"Be strong, Kate," she told herself, but before she knew it, she was grabbed and pushed to the ground.

"Hey, sexy lady," the men spoke as they surrounded her, leaving her no choice but to retreat in fear.

"Please, let me go. I don't have anything to give you," she pleaded.

The men laughed as they pulled her closer to them, and she struggled to break free, but all they did was pass her among themselves one by one.

Just then, she looked up and saw Ethan standing there, staring at her.

"Ethan, help! They are trying to do something bad to me," she called out.

Ethan stood there without saying a word. He slowly walked over to her as the five men stared at him, and one of them pulled out a knife, pointing it towards him.

"Hey, get the hell away. You have no business here. You have a chance to save yourselves; leave before we have to take action,".

Ethan gazed at Kate, whose face was filled with shock, and then he spoke, "You say you don't want to be bullied, right? Then why don't you walk away from this and let your anger take over?"

Kate felt a shock ripple through her; she had never stabbed anyone before.

"Kate was furious as she grabbed the knife away from them. In a fit of anger, she plunged it into one of their shoulders, causing him to collapse to the floor.

She stared at them as they backed away, a mix of fear and disbelief in their eyes.

.

Kate felt a shock of horror; she had never harmed anyone before, and now she had just stabbed someone.

Just as one of the men was about to lunge towards her, she seized the knife with rage, leaped at them, and struck him in the chest.

"As she stood up, she locked eyes with the other three. Just as they turned to flee, she hurled the knife with precision, striking one of the men in the back.

Suddenly, she felt a dark force enveloping her, and as she opened her eyes, everything seemed shrouded in darkness. Ethan walked over to her.

"I believe I have found my horseman of death," he declared solemnly.
